A step-by-step guide to help you navigate through the game and unlock achievements. This guide is written in English, and it’s based on my translation of the French guide authored by Lutrinae Habilis. I’ve also made some edits and added more content to it.
Achievements
Many of the achievements can be easily missed since they’re not crucial for the main storyline, except for two of them. You can actually earn all of these achievements in just one playthrough. The guide is structured in a way that ensures you won’t overlook any of them, although some achievements might depend on the choices you make in the game.
Sagacious
You finished the game without asking for clues.
Don’t choose the dialogue optionss that give hints. Don’t panic, they are clearly marked.
Sharp-Eyed
You finished the game either without using the snoop feature, or by using it a very reasonable amount of times.
Finish the game without using the highlight function of interactive objects, accessible by pressing the Space key.
Incorruptible
You finished the game without ever asking for the solution.
Again, don’t choose dialogues that explicitly state “Solution”.
Finished!
A first step towards saving the world!
Cheesebearer
You provided some unsolicited cheese to a hungry rodent.
In Chapter 1, DON’T TALK TO THE MOUSE. Don’t interact at all, and just go about your business and bring him the cheese from the safe.
Making a Mess
You’ve spilled oil on the ground. There’s nothing to be proud of.
In Chapter 1, once the spigot is placed on the barrel in the cellar, you have to open it without using a bottle to pick up the oil.
The Will of a Ghost
In Chapter 2, when going to find the bear tamer in the forest, you must immediately start east, despite Tall’s (multiple) protests. Don’t listen to him, follow your instincts, insist. And place the amulet on the stele.
Dirty Laundry
No sheet gets past you.
In Chapter 3, take the sheet from the chair in the abandoned hall, way over to the right of the room. It is not possible to miss it, the sheet is important for progression. (Unmissable)
Diplomat
Your interpersonal skills are the stuff of legends.
In Chapter 3, be humble in dialogue with the bearded warrior (specific dialogue options listed in the Chapter 3 walkthrough steps below).
