Unlike any other video games, your health in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla does not restore automatically. This only means that if you disregard your health, it will soon disappear and your character will die. If you want to recharge and restore your health after a fight with your enemies, you have to do it manually.
In this guide, you will be able to learn the ways on how to restore and get your character in shape in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Best Ways to Restore Health in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Eat and Consume Food
Just like in the real-life, you will have to consume some edible food that can be found in the wild or cooking your own to restore your health. Obviously, this will save you a lot of time and help you with all of your journeys.
When you have a full HP, it is recommended to stock up and collect any food that you find along the way. You can find a lot of berries from the bushes. If the bushes that you found already run out of berries, you can use the fast travel trick to make the berries appear again. If you fast travel from one place going back to the bushes, it will automatically spawn some berries for you to collect.
Another food that you can eat aside from berries is the fishes that you can catch. Please note that you need to build the Fisherman’s hut to gain access to the fishing rod. In case you still don’t have the requirements to build the Fisherman’s hut, you can also manually collect the fishes by jumping into the water and catch it with your bare hands.
Sleeping All The Way
This is the easiest way to gain your health back to normal. All you need to do is go to your bed on your settlement and sleep on it. Once you wake up, you will see that your health has been fully restored.
Take Your Rations
You can also use rations to heal your self and get your self back to normal. You will be able to gain a ration once you collected enough extra food while you’re at maximum health. Unlike the normal food that you can eat, rations can greatly heal your HP. Rations are also available from the enemies that you killed or even animals. Of course, you have the option to upgrade your rations in the game.
