This guide is a compilation of all the penance cosmetics that can be unlocked within Darktide.
Introduction
I’ve put the cosmetics into Tiers. Tier 1 being the easiest to unlock & Tier 4 being the hardest.
The Upper Body & Lower Body cosmetics require 1 Penance each to unlock.
The Head Cosmetic requires you to complete multiple Penances to unlock (See Below).
Tiers & Unlock Requirements
Tier 1
Unlocked by Levelling the specific class (No Head Cosmetic)
Tier 2
Can be completed with any difficulty
Upper Body
Veteran: Sharpshooter – Long Bomb
Zealot: Preacher – Abhor the Mutant
Psyker: Psykinetic – Cliffhanger
Ogryn: Skullbreaker – Something In Your Eye
Lower Body
Veteran: Sharpshooter – Marked for Death
Zealot: Preacher – Buying Time
Psyker: Psykinetic – Not even Close
Ogryn: Skullbreaker – I‘m in Charge
Head
Reach Trust Level 20
Complete 25 Missions on the specific class
Complete one of each mission type on any difficulty
Complete the Upper Body & Lower Body Penances
Tier 3
Has to be completed on Malice difficulty
Upper Body
Veteran: Sharpshooter – On Overwatch
Zealot: Preacher – Up Close and Personal
Psyker: Psykinetic – Going out with a Bang
Ogryn: Skullbreaker – Gone Bowling
Lower Body
Veteran: Sharpshooter – One in the Chamber
Zealot: Preacher – Shocking Stuff
Psyker: Psykinetic – Warp Battery
Ogryn: Skullbreaker – Friends Will Be Friends.
Head
Reach Trust Level 25
Complete 50 Missions on the specific class
Complete one of each mission type on Malice difficulty
Complete the Upper Body & Lower Body Penances
Tier 4
Has to be completed on Heresy difficulty
Upper Body
Veteran: Sharpshooter – Make every Shot Count.
Zealot: Preacher – Just a Flesh Wound
Psyker: Psykinetic – Malleus Monstronum
Ogryn: Skullbreaker – Heavyweight Champion
Lower Body
Veteran: Sharpshooter – Deadeye
Zealot: Preacher – There is nothing but the Abyss
Psyker: Psykinetic – Pick n’ Mix
Ogryn: Skullbreaker – Don’t Stop me Now!

Complete 100 Missions on the specific class
Complete one of each mission type on Heresy difficulty
