Here are some key tips for achieving all the goals:
- Missable Achievements: The only missable achievement is “Starcrossed.”
- Timing is Crucial: You can obtain all achievements before completing the final mission, except for “Starcrossed.”
- Romance Choices: In the game, you have the opportunity to romance four characters: Sarah Morgan, Sam Coe, Andreja, and Barrett. Your gender does not matter in this choice. However, it takes a significant portion of the game to maximize a relationship. To optimize your progress, select one of them and stick with them throughout the entire game. Reach for the Stars
Reach Level 100
- Adjust the game difficulty to “Very Easy” by navigating to Settings > Gameplay > Difficulty. This adjustment will significantly reduce the time required for your progress.
- Utilize the fast travel feature to reach “System: Alpha Centauri” and select “Landing Location: The Eye,” which is situated next to “Planet: Jemison.”
- If you don’t intend to start a New Game Plus (NG+), create a manual save at this point. The objective is to engage with friendly spaceships. Leave one spaceship intact, disable its engine, board it, eliminate the crew, and then swiftly return to “The Lodge.” Afterward, use fast travel to return to the previous location. Repeat this process until you attain level 100.
Important Note: Execute this method as the final step in your gameplay. Be aware that this approach will accumulate a substantial bounty. Returning to “New Atlantis” will likely result in severe financial losses. Additionally, you may face incarceration and a greater loss of experience points (XP) than gained through this farming technique. To mitigate these consequences, consider initiating a New Game Plus (NG+) after implementing this method. Therefore, it is essential to create a manual save that you can revert to if you choose not to start NG+.

You can get 10-15 total from doing the main story missions. For the remainder, you need to do temples. During the “Power from Beyond” questline, guardian enemies will spawn. This automatically starts after main mission 5 “Into The Unknown”.
Miscellaneous Achievements
I Use Them For Smuggling
Successfully Smuggle Contraband
Before you start searching for contraband, make sure to equip your spaceship with a “Shielded Cargo Hold” or a “Scan Jammer.” You can purchase these from the Crimson Fleet service technician located in Star System: Kryx > Space Station: The Key. Additionally, consider investing in the “Deception” social skill, which can be upgraded to Rank 4. At this level, it provides a 50% chance to avoid detection while smuggling contraband. Combine this skill with a scan jammer and a shielded cargo hold for the best results.
Keep in mind that the locations of contraband items are random, so you’ll need to explore to find them. Look for items with a yellow icon, usually hidden in well-protected and secretive places at points of interest during planet exploration. When you locate a contraband item, loot it and return to your spaceship.
Be cautious when fast-traveling to populated planets, as security will scan your spaceship for contraband. This is where your upgrades become essential. If they don’t find the contraband in your cargo hold, you will successfully smuggle it.
Cyber Jockey
Bypass 50 Digital Locks
Digital Locks serve as a method of lockpicking in the game. As you progress, be sure to watch for locked doors and safes. You’ll naturally earn this achievement over time as you encounter and unlock them.

Replicator
Craft 100 Items

Thirst for Knowledge
Read 20 Skill Magazines
The Family You Choose
Recruit 10 Separate Companions
In the main story, you’ll automatically recruit seven companions: Andreja, Barrett, Heller, Lin, Sam Coe, Sarah Morgan, and Vasco. To find the remaining three companions, you’ll need to visit bars, diners, and pubs.
For one of these companions, head to System: Alpha Centauri > Planet: Jemison > Landing Site: New Atlantis. Once you’ve landed, proceed straight ahead until you reach the open area with the train station. Then, take a left and enter “The Viewport” shop. Inside, you can speak to the people there to potentially find one of your additional companions.
Starcrossed
Reach Maximum Relationship Level with a Companion
To pursue a romantic relationship in the game, you have four potential options: Sarah Morgan, Sam Coe, Andreja, and Barrett. It’s important to note that your character’s gender does not affect your ability to engage in these romances. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to progress in your relationship with your chosen companion:
- Stick with one companion throughout the majority of the game, doing all main story missions and faction missions together. Only switch them out if the game forces you to do so.
- Start building your relationship by traveling with the same companion, earning Likes, and engaging in conversations when they initiate them.
- After a talk, complete their 1st Quest and choose the “flirt” or “romance” options. This will establish them as your girlfriend or boyfriend by the end of the quest.
- Continue traveling together, and your companion will want to have another conversation. Choose the “commitment” option to become engaged.
- Keep traveling together until they offer their 2nd quest, which involves getting married. Successfully marrying your companion will finalize the relationship and unlock the associated achievement.
By following these steps, you can navigate and deepen your romantic relationship with your chosen companion in the game.
