This guide will show you how to easily gain Reaper Reputation and or Emissary Value! Both works at the same time, and they require NO MODS OR GLITCHES; it’s completely vanilla!

The Strategy

The first thing you will want to do is to find a lobby with NO ships carrying Emissary flags. This can be done by looking at the tables where you would normally raise an emissary flag, and look at the table. If there is a wooden ship on the table, then you need to leave the lobby and rejoin. If there isn’t, then you need to check the other emissary tables. There are 5 in total: Reapers (found randomly in the outpost island), Gold hoarder (found in the gold hoarder tent), Order of Souls (found in the order of souls building), Merchant (found on the dock), and finally the Athenians (found in the spawn tavern). As a reaper, you normally would want to find a lobby with ships carrying emissary flags, in this case, you don’t. The strategy is completed by using underwater shrines, so enemy ships are NOT required for this strategy.

Once you have found a lobby with NO emissary ships, you want to raise the reaper flag. Do remember that the whole lobby can see you on the map, so do be careful. If you don’t think you could win in a ship battle, I think this guide will also work with the gold hoarder emissary, but I haven’t tested it, so take that with a grain of salt.

Once you raised your reaper (or gold hoarder) flag, (if you are a reaper) go to a shrine nearby the reaper’s outpost. If you are a gold hoarder, go to a shrine nearby an outpost. Then complete the shrine. There are many different guides on the shrines themselves, so go check those out if you need help. Throughout the shrine, you will find a lot of loot, and you will find mermaid statues. Put these items in mermaid statues, and once you are done, you can collect the items on the surface.

Once you have the items, be-line for an outpost/reaper hideout to quickly sell the items, and then you are done! You will gain reputation, emissary value, and gold very quickly!

Additional Tips

This strategy is a lot easier in multiplayer, as one person can stay on the boat and look for ships, or they can be let in through one of the bubbles on the side of the shrine. You also need to be prepared for fights against skeletons, sirens, etc in the shrine, but also if you are unlucky, potentially other ships.
