This guide is a walkthrough of 2 methods for enabling respawn in Beyond Contact ensuring a comfortable ride to doomsday saving the world.
Private Multiplayer Server Method
Creating a private Multiplayer game.
- Select PLAY.
- Change the Play Style to Multiplayer.
- Change the Server Visibility to Private.
- Adjust the Players slider (altering the maximum amount of allowed players) to One (1).
- Leave Respawn enabled.
- Set the Fauna level to what you’d like.
- Enjoy a play session free of fear.
Your settings should look like this before starting the game:
Respawn Enabled Single-Player Game Method
Converting a multiplayer game to single-player. This allows you to pause the game using the ESC menu and the OBJECTIVES screen; something that is not possible in the multiplayer Play Style.
- Select PLAY.
- Change the Play Style to Multiplayer.
- Change the Server Visibility to Private.
- Adjust the Players slider (altering the maximum amount of allowed players) to One (1).
- Leave Respawn enabled.
- Set the Fauna level to what you’d like
- Double-check your settings look like those outlined in method 1 above.
- Start the game.
- Once Quinn has gotten up off the floor press ESC.
- Select the SINGLE PLAYER option on the menu (See EG 1.).
