Gord System Requirements
Can I Run Gord?
To play Gord, your computer must meet certain system requirements. For the minimum specifications, you’ll need a Windows 10 64-bit operating system, an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a graphics card like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 with 4 GB of VRAM or the AMD Radeon R9 380 with 4 GB of VRAM. DirectX 11 is also necessary, and you should have 20 GB of available storage space.
For a smoother and more immersive gaming experience, the recommended requirements include a Windows 10 64-bit OS, a more powerful Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a high-performance graphics card such as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with 8 GB of VRAM or the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT with 8 GB of VRAM. DirectX 11 is still the preferred version, and you should maintain 20 GB of available storage space to fully enjoy Gord.
Gord Optimization
Are you having a hard time getting a decent frame rate in Gord? Here are some useful tips that you need to try:
- If you’re getting an FPS drop while playing Gord, try running the game in windowed mode.
- Lowering your in-game graphics settings will increase your frame rate.
- Disable background-running apps and services.
- Prioritize the processing of Gord. To do that, open the Task Manager > Details tab > right-click on Gord > Set priority > choose High.
- Update the drivers on your PC. We recommend using Driver Booster.
- Use Driver Booster’s Game Boost option. This will disable background running apps that are not usually needed by Gord.
How to Monitor Gord FPS
There are several third-party programs that are capable of showing you the frame rate while in-game. These programs are usually lightweight, and you don’t have to worry about them using too much processing memory. We recommend using any of the following to show the FPS on the screen while playing Gord:
- MSI Afterburner
- FPS counter
- Fraps
- GeForce Experience in-game overlay
- Steam in-game overlay
If you experience some lag or any performance issues while using any of this software, simply turn it off.
