A complete guide to the CSPPI regarding all maps, responses, evidence, etc. MASSIVE spoilers.
The Basics
To hunt ghosts you will need to collect evidence related to the ghost you want to find. Make sure you read through the emails you are sent, the wiki, and the archive notes as these will help greatly with not only your investigations, but also your understanding of the game. Your archive will expand as you collect notes placed in each locale (more on that later). Select evidence and go to the map to begin an investigation.
Your equipment is stored in the back of the van, so you can use whatever you need within the level. You should know your tools at this point, so explore the area for archive notes and activity. Get at least two positive temp and EMF readings, one or two good photos, and at least three audio entries; this will ensure you get fifty points at the end of the game. You can then use these point to buy the following items from the SLIME menu.
- Laser pen (125)
- EMF pod (250)
- Parabolic Mic (250)
- ParaBox (450)
- ParaVox (375)
- Auto-cam (1000)
After finishing an investigation, archive notes have a chance of spawning. Look around for them as they are pivotal evidence and lore, usually found in areas where ghosts haunt.
A few tips for equipment:
- The EMF reader and temperature sensor do not contribute to your progress while you are moving, so you should more around and stop to get the best results.
- The laser pen will turn yellow when there is a temperature drop in its area.
- It seems you can only get two EVP responses from the recorder per ghost, per investigation.
