If you haven’t unlocked this skill for your horse yet and you get into the water while riding it on the back, you will be thrown by your horse when the water becomes too deep. To get your horse swim, first, you need to unlock the swimming ability.
To unlock this ability for your horse, all you need to do is by purchasing the Swimming Lesson from the that can be found in the Stable and Aviary upgrades. You to spend 150 silver to have your horse the ability of swimming.
After you unlock this ability for your horse, you can purchase another swimming upgrade which will increase the swim speed of your mounts. This costs 300 silver, making it a total of 450 silver for the lesson to teach your horse to swim and increase its swim speed.
