- Patch Title: EARLY ACCESS RELEASE + PATCH 1 (“Stupid Premonitions”)
- Patch Release Date: January 1, 2024
The developer of The Girl Who Kicked a Rabbit has released a new update for the game on April 13, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Hi everyone!
We released this game into Early Access and then promptly fell asleep from exhaustion. When we woke there was so much stuff to think about.
A bunch of people bought the game and we are so grateful for that. And with players comes bugs, improvements and new content.
First, a look at the updates:
- New UI to indicate blocked Null Pyres. A bunch of players misunderstood this mechanic. Hopefully this makes it clearer.
- The Advance move (few players probably acquired this) now shows its cursor when selecting a target.
- A bunch of spelling errors were corrected.
- The secret level now has a secret reward (Shhhhhhh!)
- A second secret level has been added (With another secret reward (SHHHHHH!)
- “Sol Strike” is now “Overslap” and indicates the Solar is damaged as well
- Windball has been removed and generally been replaced by Baneboon or other moves.
- Baneboon will be more useful now. If it drops a Catalyst, this Catalyst is guaranteed to match the current Douse recipe if necessary.
- The Ogre got more health as it simply perished too quickly.
- Douse deals less damage now.
That were the improvements for patch 1, “Stupid Premonitions”.
Besides that, we were fortunate enough for a couple of kind streamers to give the game a try. First we had Zokubun playing the game for a couple of hours: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2112770394
And then NifHawk played for even longer: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2116206557
What a wonderful Early Access launch. Thank you everyone!
