This guide will show you how to easily farm experience in the Sewer in the game. Having enough experience and level will surely enhance your overall gaming experience in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Sewer XP Farm Guide
When you go into the sewers at the beginning of a new game, you can easily level up several skills, such as:
- Blocking
- Acrobatics
- Restoration
- Light Armor
- Heavy Armor
- Athletics
- Sneak
Here’s how it works: Choose to play as a Breton character. Eliminate all the rats in the area except for one. Let that one rat continuously attack you while you use a healing spell (like Restoration) and wear armor.
If your magicka is running low, you can either run away until it recharges or use a shield to block. Shields can be found along with pieces of light and heavy armor throughout the sewer level.
When your shield eventually breaks, you can use a sword to block instead. Blocking with a sword achieves the same goal, and you can still earn experience points on armor even when it’s broken.
If you start feeling bored with fighting the rat, you can move on to fighting the goblin or goblins instead.
