The Red stone is super rare in the game. You can’t buy it at the store, and there are only 3 available in the entire game. When you have the Red stone, you’re invulnerable to all sorts of damage from the environment (like gas pipes or electrical wires) and even from regular attacks by enemies and bosses.
To get the Red stone, head to a specific spot marked on your map. There, you’ll face a small puzzle with 3 levers and some gas pipes. Solve it, and you’re on your way.
Once the puzzle’s done, head downstairs to find a small room with a chest. Open it up, and voila! You’ve got the Red stone.
