This is a guide going over everything you need to know about the Witch’s Hut. Extra things that involve the Witch’s Hut and what you need to do to use them will also be here.

The Beforehand Quest

There is a quest that must be done before you can even gain access to the Witch’s Hut. This quest is known as the Dark Talisman Quest. This quest does not take too long but still needs to be done. After completing the Community Center or Joja Warehouse tasks, head over to the railroad for a cutscene. The Wizard needs to get his “magic ink” but he has to have the Dark Talisman first.

To get the Dark Talisman you must first have the sewer unlocked. Then speak to Krobus so you are able to enter the Mutant Bug Lair which is also in the sewer. Once you step in, take a look around for the talisman, and once you find it go back to the cave by railroad. This cave is near the top-right area of the railroad.

The Dark Talisman is then supposed to be placed on the green rock that is blocking the cave

Another Required Quest

This quest is pretty simple and does not require a lot. Once you open the cave using Dark Talisman you will be teleported as soon as you walk in. When you arrive you will see the Witch’s Hut but a small goblin will be blocking the way just like the rock. This time you will need Void Mayonnaise you get the goblin to move. The easiest way to get the Void Mayonnaise is by fishing at the Witch’s Hut as there is a 25% chance you can get a one by doing that.

The Witch’s Hut

After those two quests, you can finally enter the Witch’s Hut. There are a couple of things in the Witch’s Hut that you can put to good use. First, the magic ink the wizard was looking for is located there. If you take the ink and give it back to the Wizard, he will open up a shop of new end-game builds for your farm. Also, if you have 4 friendship hearts with the Wizard you can gain access to his basement that lets you teleport to the Witch’s Hut.

The Shrines

Now here is the part you probably came looking for!

There are three shrines inside of the Witch’s Hut which can be used if have the correct things. Starting off, The Dark Shrine of Memory which is in the middle. This shrine will make every one of your ex-spouses forget the relationship you had with them. To use this shrine you must give 30,000 gold to it.

Moving on, the Dark Shrine of Selfishness. This shrine will turn your children into doves and make them fly away, basically just getting rid of your children. This shrine requires a Prismatic Shard.

Last but not least, the Shrine of Night Terrors. This shrine will let monsters invade your farm during the night. This goes for every farm currently in the game. To activate this shrine you need a “strange bun”

The Strange Bun can be obtained from Krobus’ shop (on Saturdays), Stardrop Saloon, and the Traveling Cart. If it’s not in one of these try one of the others and wait for the stock to rotate.
