Island Badges

What’s A Ravelin?
Conquer the ravelin near the loading bay

You can choose to bring a crewmate with swimming abilities or utilize Gaëlle’s shooting skills to transport yourself there. Subsequently, eliminate the three guards at that location, and the badge should be awarded.

Hopeless Apprentice
Take control of the head blacksmith with Pinkus, then use the cannon to get rid of his apprentice

For Whom the Bell Tolls
Kill all guards that carry an Alarm Bell without attacking any other guards

In total, there are seven guards equipped with alarm bells. To earn this badge, you must complete any mission except “Into the Lion’s Den” without eliminating any other guards throughout the entire mission. It is advisable to attempt this challenge on “Teresa’s Lament” in Chapter 2, although it’s not entirely confirmed whether this mission is a requirement.

Solitary Reign
Kill the lonely Iudex

Iudex is one of the Mimimi Devs in the game, but it’s important to note that there is a current bug preventing the game from registering its death.

The Court Is Adjourned
Kill 6 Iudex within 6 seconds on any mission

If you prefer a cautious approach, incapacitate your targets, place them together, and swiftly eliminate them. Alternatively, you can accomplish this task using standard methods along with shadow mode.

I suggest selecting Teresa, Afia, and Toya for this operation.

Assign Teresa to the two individuals on the right. Dispatch the one situated on the tower with your Iron Judgement, and handle the other with either your melee weapon or pistol.

For Afia, dispatch the first target with your pistol (which is three seconds faster than using melee, but melee is still viable), and eliminate the second one with Blink (Grand Blink can make this task more manageable).

The final two targets can be swiftly dealt with by Toya. Affix your Katashiro to one of them, approach the other, eliminate her using melee, and promptly activate Shadow Step.

It’s crucial to execute all of these actions within two shadow mode activations. Initiate the first set of actions, and as soon as all elimination animations commence, reactivate shadow mode and strategize for the subsequent eliminations.

Garden Meditation
Knock out every guard at the Maiden’s Gardens and don’t hide a single body

Although concealing bodies is prohibited in this area, you can still transport them to concealed locations. This practice proves valuable in preventing the patrol from triggering an alert.

Into The Lion’s Den

Third Time’s the Charm
Kill the Custodes who guards the Captain’s head 3 times without unleashing a memory on your own

This particular task involves a bit of effort and requires some finesse. The initial two instances are integral to the mission, but on the third occasion, you must evade Ignacia and essentially repeat the mission without relying on save/reload mechanisms.

However, during this attempt, you are not obliged to retrieve the head. Instead, you can opt to eliminate the target, such as using Teresa to shoot him. The badge should promptly unlock as soon as you dispatch him for the third time.

Lightning Justice
Kill 3 Iudex within 2 seconds

Given the crowded presence of Iudexes in the area, executing this task will require only a single activation of shadow mode.

Firekeeper
Don’t extinguish any lights

Please bear in mind that if you incapacitate a security officer who is in possession of a light source, it is advisable not to approach or pass by them, as doing so will result in the inadvertent extinguishing of their lantern.

Ignacia Unleashed
We Play Another Game
Avoid a forced unleash by the Inquisitor

It is imperative to exercise extreme caution and completely steer clear of Ignacia. Instead, focus on simultaneously breaking all three seals and refrain from attempting to eliminate Ignacia.

Reserved For the Inquisition
Don’t enter the Barracks or the Scriptorium

This involves navigating through the rather densely populated central area of the map.

There is also a method to exploit this situation: You will need to bring Virgilio, Quentin, and optionally a third crew member who is proficient in swimming.

Choose the Servant’s Pier landing location (located to the east) and traverse the yellow route shown in the screenshot. Once you arrive, ascend the ladder and employ Virgillio’s Trickster’s Tarot, opting for Gaëlle. Subsequently, you can target Quentin inside the Maiden’s Garden and use the Treasure Rod to pull in the other two crew members.

Teresa’s Lament (Ch. 2)

Eager Pilgrim
Arrive at the Beacon of Judgement before the Confessor

This particular task isn’t overly challenging. Simply refrain from engaging in conversation with the Confessor and proceed directly to the second mission objective. There’s no need to engage in a race with him.

Bad Back
Don’t use any ladders with Teresa

Although this can be accomplished straightforwardly, you have the option to enhance your approach by including Gaëlle and/or Quentin in your crew. This will enable Teresa to reach elevated locations without the need for ladders.

If you opt to go without these two crew members, it’s essential to ensure that Teresa’s skills are upgraded, allowing her to gather her bolts using other members of the crew.

Pinkus’ Duty (Ch. 2)

The Rite is Clear
Get the objects for the ceremony without perusing the mind of any guard

This task is relatively uncomplicated, but it’s crucial to bear in mind that in order to complete it, you will need to eliminate a majority of the Prognosticars.

Focused On the Job
Peruse the priest’s mind without attacking anyone else beforehand

The procedure is quite simple. Just observe the Priest’s movement pattern and surveil him once he is no longer within anyone’s line of sight. For added assurance, consider including a team member capable of diverting the attention of guards.

Solo Quartermaster
Finish the mission with only Pinkus in your team

This task can be somewhat challenging, especially on higher difficulty settings. You have the option to collect the majority of the mission objectives by taking control of guards. Your approach should involve eliminating all guards who have a direct line of sight to these objectives, excluding the Prognosticars. Timing is critical here, as their field of vision must be considered. As soon as you initiate interaction with the objectives, they will become alert and attempt to spot you.
