This guide will show you how to unlock and get all achievements in Ritual Tournament.
General
Hello and welcome to the guide for Ritual Tournament achievements!
Let’s jump straight into it without wasting much time. If you’ve bought Ritual Tournament, and you want to unlock all 30 achievements, I’ve got you covered. I just finished the game 100%, and I’ll show you how to get everything in one go, taking less than 2 hours.
Before you start playing, here are a couple of important things to keep in mind:
- The controls might be a bit wonky. On a Steam Deck, I couldn’t get past the title screen. The right keys are U, I, J, and K. If you’re using a Steam Deck or a controller, set the 4 face buttons to these keys – they’re your two punches and two kicks. Don’t worry about low or high punches or kicks; for 100% completion, you won’t need them. Just make sure the U key is assigned to one of your face buttons because it acts as the confirmation button in Arcade Mode.
- The main actions you’ll use are Ki (F key) and Sacrifice (G key). Assign these to tab buttons or triggers.
- You can unlock all achievements on Easy difficulty. The only one tied to Hard difficulty is “Very good! But brick not hit back!”
- To speed through matches, spam the projectile move of each fighter. Check the image below to see how to perform these projectile moves.
With all this in mind, LET’S GO!
Victory Achievements
Okay, now let’s talk about the 8 achievements that are super easy – you just need to win one match with each character. But here’s the trick: don’t use the Sacrifice move at the end of the second or final match. Even though it’s a win, the game won’t count it if it’s a sacrifice. Just knock out your opponent for it to count as a win. The key is to spam projectiles at your opponent to breeze through the matches.

Sacrifice Achievements
Now, let’s switch gears and focus on a different set of 8 achievements. This time, you need to perform a sacrifice with each character.
Performing a sacrifice is a bit specific – it has to be done at the end of the second or final round when your opponent is nearly defeated, just a sliver of health left. Get close to your opponent and press the Sacrifice button (G key) to activate it.
Think of sacrifices as Ritual Tournament’s version of a fatality. So, for these achievements, bring out those dramatic finishing moves!

Ending Achievements
Now, let’s talk about the next 8 achievements, which are straightforward. You just need to finish Arcade Mode with each character.
But here’s a crucial note: to see a character’s ending, you have to perform at least 4 Sacrifices during your playthrough. Once you’ve done that, you’ll face the game’s Final Boss: Shinshira Satame. Beat her, and you’ll get to see your character’s ending. Keep in mind that the ending consists of a single panel with some very small and mostly illegible text. So, focus on those Sacrifices to unveil the story bits!

Reach Nagisa Ending
Let’s wrap it up with the last 2 achievements, and their unlocking depends on whether you performed at least 4 Sacrifices during your playthrough. These achievements are directly tied to your commitment to those Sacrifices, so make sure you hit that quota to secure these final accomplishments!
No Ritual For You
Reach the Alternative Ending
To get to this ending, just DON’T do any Sacrifices while you play. After the 8th stage, the credits will roll, and you won’t have to fight the final boss, Shinshira Satame. Remember, if you go for this different ending, you won’t see your character’s ending, so it’s a good idea to go for this achievement after you’ve gotten all the character endings.
Intentions Revealed
You did exactly what she wanted
To get this achievement, you HAVE to do at least 4 Sacrifices as you play. If you do that, after the 8th stage, you’ll face the final boss of the game, Shinshira Satame. Just beat her, and you’ll unlock the achievement.
Miscellaneous Achievements
Say My Name!
Watch the Credits
This unlocks when you complete Arcade Mode for the first time. The credits only take less than 5 seconds to roll.
“Very good! But brick not hit back!”
Finish the game on Hard Difficulty (any ending)
It’s easier than it seems. If you’ve been playing on Easy for the other achievements, you won’t see much of a change. The only two things I noticed were: (1) opponents use more projectiles, but if you keep using projectiles too, you’ll beat them faster, and (2) doing Sacrifices might be harder because they keep hitting you. It’s not impossible to do a Sacrifice, but it’s better to focus on projectiles and save this achievement for the end.
“Matte!”
Reach the Game Over Screen
Just let yourself get knocked out in the first fight. I didn’t even have to try for this one – got it on my very first fight while figuring out the controls and hitboxes.
A Game of Shadows
We know you are eager to spill some blood
This achievement might be the trickiest, mainly because it’s a secret one, and the name doesn’t give much away. To unlock it, pay attention to the loading screens between stages (when it says “X” Vs. “Y”). You’ll see two small silhouettes at the bottom, representing your upcoming match, and you can control one. Simply attack your opponent’s shadow, and it’ll unlock. The hits won’t count, so just be sure you’re right next to the opponent’s shadow. This might be the only time you’ll actually use the punch and kick buttons, so just mash all four buttons!
