Slow Motion Bug Overview
This happens because Hopoo used the same game engine as the original Risk of Rain (OG RoR). In OG RoR, this slowdown problem happens, especially if your computer isn’t very powerful, you turned off frame skipping, or you’re in the late game.
To solve it, just change the setting from “Auto-detect” to “Exclusive.”
But be aware that this issue might still happen after you switch to a different program using alt + tab. It’s a bit frustrating because Hopoo didn’t even add ShareSuite as an artifact in the game, which makes you wonder what they’re up to, right?
