- Title: Pacify
- Release Date:
This guide will be showing you how to complete the newest Headquarters update in Pacify. In addition, you will also be able to learn how to unlock and obtain all Pacify Headquarters achievements that have been added.
This guide contains some minor spoilers, so if you prefer to uncover this mission on your own, please proceed with caution.
Limited information is currently accessible regarding this mission, primarily due to its recent introduction. To assist you in efficiently managing battery charge and enhancing your safety through the use of disruptors, I’ve created a map of the primary floor where the mission unfolds.
Furthermore, I’ve provided details on the newly introduced achievements. It’s important to note that I may not have information on all of them at the moment. Rest assured, I will continue to update this guide to ensure accuracy as I gather more data.
To achieve a main ending victory in Mission: Headquarters, follow these steps:
- Begin by entering the Supply Room to collect batteries and essential items.
- Power up the hatch, and descend to the main area.
- Continuously monitor and maintain the battery levels of the doors.
- Re-power the Lesser Containment Unit.
- Continue your vigilant upkeep of door battery levels.
- Once Shag escapes, utilize Disruptor beams to blast him three times.
- When Cursed Dolls are released into the map, act swiftly to eliminate all of them while managing the monsters they unleash.
- Another Shag-entity will spawn after the last Cursed Doll has been incinerated. Eliminate it by hitting it five times with a Disruptor.
- Once the entity is defeated, ensure that all monsters are re-trapped to secure your victory. If the game doesn’t conclude, double-check that all monsters are behind the second set of bars, not just outside the doors.
Power it up
Place a charged battery in a battery socket.
Simply insert a charged battery into a battery socket. You’ll find one right after exiting the elevator at the beginning of the mission.
Charge a battery to full.
Head down the main hall from the start and take the second-to-last left. In the Supply Room, you’ll find the battery charger to the left of the door. Insert a battery and wait until it reaches 100% charge.
Get a bullseye on the dart board.
The dartboard is located in the Break Room, the second door on the right from the spawn point. To hit a bullseye, aim high when throwing darts.
Solve the haunted simulation.
The final door on the right starting from the spawn point in the Haunted Simulation requires a battery for access. Once you’ve entered this area, you won’t be able to exit until you’ve successfully completed its challenge. Your objective is to reach the door that leads to the stairs. Interestingly, this door is always open because the actual door itself has come off its hinges and rests against the adjacent wall.
However, there’s a twist – a smoking entity that can randomly teleport you to different rooms if you happen to encounter it. To navigate past this entity, you’ll need to be patient. Wait for it to move in the direction of the spawn area while hiding in a nearby side room. Once it’s passed you and moved away, make your move deeper into the house.
Once you’ve reached the lower levels of the house, you’ll encounter a mirror. To successfully complete the challenge, walk over the burning figure in the crib. By doing so, you’ll have solved the puzzle, and you’ll be able to exit the Haunted Simulation freely.
Get back in there!
Power the Lesser Containment Unit.
At a specific juncture, the batteries powering the LCU (presumably a device or system) will encounter a malfunction and begin to deplete rapidly. To earn the achievement associated with this, you need to swiftly swap out these malfunctioning batteries with fresh ones.
It’s worth noting that I accomplished this in a single-player mode. It appears that certain achievements are exclusively granted to the host in multiplayer scenarios, so performing this task solo is advisable to ensure you receive the achievement.
Don’t Do That
Let a monster out of its cell, yourself.
The description might suggest that you can obtain this achievement by intentionally opening the inner cell door to release a monster, rather than waiting for the battery to deplete. However, after attempting this in both single-player and multiplayer modes without success, it appears that there may be an issue with the achievement. It’s possible that it’s bugged and not functioning as intended, or there could be additional steps or complexities involved that are not immediately evident. Further investigation or clarification from the game developers may be needed to understand how to unlock this particular achievement.
Run out of time during the self destruct sequence.
This conclusion entails a scenario where numerous entities have escaped from their confinement. The artificial intelligence (AI) initiates a self-destruct countdown, and your sole task is to refrain from returning any monsters to their enclosures until the timer expires.
Note: I executed this sequence in single-player mode since certain achievements appear to be exclusive to the host in multiplayer mode.
You and the entities escape the headquarters.
Engage in the game following the standard gameplay until Shag manages to break free from its confinement. Afterward, guide Shag to the first floor, where the Supervisor’s room is located. As soon as the monster is positioned outside the door, you will hear unique voice lines from the Supervisor. Once you’ve successfully eliminated Shag, swiftly head for the exit door, which is the same as where you initially started, and this achievement will be unlocked. At this point, you need not be concerned about the monster, as it will also be making a dash for the exit.
Note: I accomplished this task in single-player mode, as it appears that certain achievements are exclusively attainable by the host in multiplayer mode.
You Can Do It!
Take on the Headquarters during the power outage all by yourself.
To secure this achievement in single-player mode, you must achieve the good ending. The steps involve maintaining the containment of entities, eliminating Shag, incinerating all the cursed dolls, addressing the subsequent entity, and then successfully re-confining all the entities once more. This mission is undeniably challenging when attempted solo.
Welcome to PAH HQ
Help at the headquarters during the power outage in cooperative mode.
Achieving this achievement entails securing the good ending within a multiplayer setting. The identical procedures that are applicable in the singleplayer mode can be utilized. It’s noteworthy that this accomplishment can be attained in multiplayer even when not assuming the role of the host.
Don’t get hurt once, while keeping the headquarters safe.
This accomplishment entails achieving the good ending in either a solo or multiplayer setting without encountering hostile entities. It’s essential to maintain a well-stocked inventory to ensure that any escaping entities consume items instead of harming you. Additionally, strategic gameplay near disruptors is crucial to success. It’s worth noting that accomplishing this task is generally more manageable in a multiplayer environment.
