This guide will show you what is Quirk all about and how to remove this in Pacific Drive.
What is a Quirk
If you discover something odd with your car, chances are it’s a Quirk. When you’re on the platform in your garage, keep an eye on the monitor mounted on the wall. If there’s anything unusual, like a yellow square, it’ll likely pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen.
How to Use the Tinker Station
To get rid of the quirk, head over to the Tinker Station, which you can find on the right side of your car.
At the Tinker Station, you’ll encounter four distinct rows, and I’ll walk you through how to utilize them effectively.
Let’s tackle the issue you mentioned:
- Red: What’s the subject? -> Car
- Green: What action are you taking? -> Driving in reverse
- Orange: Which component is behaving oddly? -> Hood
- Blue: What’s the unexpected behavior? -> Opens
Afterward, hit the Spacebar, and the device will indicate if your diagnosis is accurate.
While I was reversing, the hood unexpectedly popped open.
How to Fix a Found Quirk
Once you’ve identified the issue, the next step is fixing it. Simple, isn’t it?
While you’re navigating the Tinker Station menu, simply press the ‘E’ key to proceed to the next page.
Here, you’ll find the list of items required to address your problem. In our scenario: 1 Sealing Kit + 1 Mechanic Kit.
If you have these items in your Inventory, press the Spacebar once more.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully resolved a quirk in your car.
