Here’s how to solve the problem when the picture button in Marvel’s Midnight Suns isn’t working as it should. It seems like the folks at 2k aren’t addressing this issue, but don’t worry, I’ll explain what to do if you’re experiencing this blurry photo mode bug.
Photo Mode Bug Fix
First, you need to go to the configuration file of the game. By default, you can find it in this directory:
C:/Users/%USERPROFILE%/Documents/My Games/Marvel's Midnight Suns/Saved_Steam_<user-id>/Config/WindowsNoEditor/
Find the file called engine.ini and open it.
Once you have the file opened, copy and paste the following code at the end of the file.
[ConsoleVariables] Fxs.Photobooth.LockedResolutionHeight=1440
Save the changes and see if the problem has been resolved.
Note that I am using 1440p since my monitor’s resolution is 1440p. You can change it to 1080p or anything depending on your screen’s resolution.
