How to Fix Noosphere Sound Issue

In this troubleshooting guide, we will start with the most basic fixes that you can try to solve the Noosphere audio problem.

Setting the Default Audio Device

Sometimes, the default audio settings are changed without our knowledge. While this does not happen regularly, there’s a chance that your installed software or new updates have changed it.

To fix this, simply click the audio icon on your taskbar and choose the speakers connected to your computer. This usually fixes almost every sound issue on your machine.

Update Your Audio Driver

If the first method did not work for you, there’s a chance that your machine doesn’t have the latest audio drivers.

You have two options to get the latest update for your audio devices. The first is by simply getting the latest update from your manufacturer, which is a little bit time-consuming.

If you want to make your life easier, you can use Driver Booster to automatically fetch the latest audio driver for your PC. Download Driver Booster here.

Reinstalling Noosphere

This will be your last resort to fix the audio issues in Noosphere. There’s a chance that your Noosphere has become corrupted, resulting in missing sounds in the game. But before you reinstall Noosphere, make sure to verify its file integrity first.

To verify the Noosphere’s file integrity:

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Go to Library and find Noosphere on the left side.
  3. Right-click and select Properties.
  4. Go Local Files tab and click Verify integrity of game files button.
  5. Wait until the verification is complete.
