100% achievements guide for Gift of Parthax.
Introduction
Things to know before starting:
- All achievements can be unlocked on Easy difficulty.
- There are 2 missable achievements. The game requires 2 playthroughs for unlocking both. One complete playthrough and one until a certain point. Both playthroughs can be done in 3-4 hours.
- There is an achievement for completing the game with only Fire spells.
- There is a no-death achievement, but it’s not hard to do and can be done along with the Fire spells achievement.
- Two achievements were bugged for me and seem to be bugged for other people as well. There is a depot fix at the end of the guide.
Starting Achievements

- Pretty straightforward.
Playthrough One
These are all the achievements that can be unlocked on the first Play-through. ‘Immortal’, ‘Turn them to ash’ and ‘Darker intentions’ are the three important achievements that can be done on Play-through One. Other achievements can be unlocked along the way, but these are the ones we’re working towards.
Immortal – Complete the entire game without a single death
- No death achievement. Not as hard as it sounds. Can be done on Easy difficulty. The game is divided into 5 seasons of 5 levels each, for a total of 25 levels. Each level has between 3 to 6 waves of enemies (depending on the season), except for the last level in every season which is a Boss level. Early levels can be done without the need for Healing or Mana potions, but keep some just in case. You’ll have more than enough money for everything, so keep some potions with you (They are also required for achievements). Achievement will unlock after defeating Parthax.
Turn them to ash – Complete entire game using only fire as primary element
- Each spell is derived from an element. Some spells are derived from two elements. The elemental type of a spell can be seen by moving the mouse cursor over the spell, in the spellbook. For this achievement, make sure that all the spells you use have Fire as the primary element. Keeping other elemental spells in your Spell bar is fine as long as you don’t use them. Swap them out for Fire spells as soon as you get them. Some spells have fire in them but their primary elements are different. (eg. Winterflame has a Cold as a primary element). In the early levels, you can use the default spell Fire ball, but you’ll have to use other fire spells later on (eg. Cherufe, Flame pulse, Flame dash). Although enemies have different elemental weaknesses in all seasons, they are not hard to kill. Achievement will unlock after defeating Parthax.
Darker intentions – Gain Blood magic
- This is one of the missable achievements. After defeating the boss in every season, we have the choice, to kill or spare the boss. An icon of weighing scales is shown on the top right. We can get this achievement by killing all the bosses in seasons Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The one-shot is enough to kill them. After completing the Winter season and going back to the Hall of Preparation, Parthax is waiting to talk to us. The achievement unlocks soon afterward.
Firebug – Complete a challenge with only fire spells equipped
- Equip only Fire spells and Fire Arch spell in the Spell bar and complete a level (Spring 1 is the easiest level). Fire spells are Fire ball, Cherufe, Flame dash, and Flame nova. The spells we get after completing levels are random, but since we are going for ‘Turn them to ash’ achievement, we should be able to get it in Playthrough One.
Legend of Arif – Destroy all breakable objects for a season
- At the beginning of the game or any new season, breakable items crates, and vases are spawned at some locations. Breaking all of those breakable items in a season will give you the achievement. Breaking items during one season is enough, for unlocking the achievement. The item spawns don’t seem to vary between seasons, so they can be collected at any time. Most of the items are in the Hall of Preparation, but one set of crates is at the terrace. You go to the terrace after clearing every level.
Explorer – Find all objects for a season
- At the beginning of the game or any new season, certain items are spawned which when collected give knowledge (XP). Collecting all the collectible objects in a season will give you the achievement. You only have to collect all the items from one season for the achievement. The item spawns don’t seem to vary between seasons, so they can be collected at any time. All collectible items are found in the Hall of Preparation.
New cloak fundings – Open a chest with riches
- Go to the shopkeepers room (middle door in the Hall of Preparation). Use dash to move behind the counter. Press F to open the chest. If the chest has money, then you’ll unlock the achievement. New chests are spawned at the beginning of a season and stay open/closed for the rest of the season. To open a new chest, you have to move to the next season
Thankfully not a Mimic – Open an empty chest
- Go to the shopkeepers room (middle door in the rest area). Use dash to move behind the counter. Press F to open the chest. If the chest is empty, then you’ll unlock the achievement. New chests are spawned at the beginning of a season and stay open/closed for the rest of the season. To open a new chest, you have to move to the next season
Collateral damage – Damage more than 5 enemies with the effect of an explosive rune
- Buy an Explosive rune from the shopkeeper. You’ll have to play 1 or 2 levels, to get the money for it. Add the explosive rune to the Fire ball spell. This achievement should unlock during normal gameplay. But if it doesn’t, stand still and let the enemies swarm you, and then use fire ball.
