Engaging Destiny 100% Achievements Guide

This guide will show you how to unlock all acheivements in Engaging Destiny. As of writing, the game features a total of 44 achievements. This achievement guide is based on the game version 1.2.0.0.

Unlock all achievements (accolades) in Engaging Destiny, revealing its unique CG art content. Warning: Not spoiler-free.

Galanor City

Underwear Thief
Took Warrick’s underwear from his room.

Before you go out of your home, go into Warrick’s room and grab Warrick’s Underwear from the chest.

By Moonlight
The knight had no idea he was being watched.

Enter Warrick’s room and take his underwear from the chest. When you’re out of Galanor and camping in the Forest Clearing, put up the tents without cooking. Then, go east to secretly watch Warrick. This lets you unlock both Spy On Warrick – With Underwear and Spy On Warrick – No Underwear CGs.

Still Juicy
Warrick got his apple!

Collect an apple from Martha, the lady near the fruit cart to the east of your house. Keep it until Warrick wakes up, then give it to him.

Spare Pair
Warrick has a spare pair of undies for the future.

After getting a new pair of underwear from the chest and swapping it for the used one from Warrick’s bath in the Forest Clearing, like the award mentioned earlier, keep it and return it to him later.

Potato Connoisseur
Everyone appreciates the potato.

Once you leave your house, enter the first house to the east. Find the potato under the bed. Make sure to show it to everyone in Galanor before heading to your knighting ceremony (talk to each person twice). Continue showing it to everyone you come across. A list of where to find everyone is provided at the end of this guide.

Galanor City – Extra CGs

Scene: Calen Reads To Warrick

Before you go out of the house, grab ‘The Wrath of Rast’ from the bookshelf. Once Warrick is injured and you arrive at Arakarn’s house, go into your shared bedroom and read it to him.

Faranel Extra CGs

Scene: Spy On Shale

On every alternate night, Shale patrols the forest. If he’s in Central Faranel, sleep until night again. If he’s not there, go through the first entrance south in the forest to reach Southern Verdure Forest and observe him.

Faranel (story-related)

Completing these achievements is crucial for finishing the game. You can’t overlook them.

Ding Removal
Warrick’s armor looks as good as new!

After chatting with Garret, get the armor from the closet near Warrick’s bed and take it to the blacksmith. Once Garret gives it back, put it back in the closet. Make sure to do this before Warrick gets better, as this one can be missed!

Forest Ranger
The wandering echinafew was delivered to Arakarn!

Enter the forest, go west until the end, then take the southern entrance when you reach a wall. Keep heading west to find the Wandering Echinafew. Afterward, give it to Arakarn. This unlocks the Flashback – Making Flower Crowns CG. Note: It’s a wandering plant, so sometimes it spawns elsewhere. The spot above is where I found it in all my playthroughs. If you can’t find it, leaving the forest resets its spawn location.

Runemaster
Pillar puzzles proved to be no challenge.

In the poisonous cave, there’s a crucial puzzle to solve for obtaining the cave mushroom. To enter the cave, you’ll need red thistle tea, received by talking to Dyne again after your introduction, and a light ring, which you can obtain from the shopkeeper. Approach the poison gas with the tea in hand, head east until you find a pair of ladders. Descend and collect the runestone at the very bottom. Although necessary to proceed, this runestone isn’t used to complete the puzzle. Return, climb both sets of ladders, place the runestone, and continue east until you locate an accessible door. From this point, it becomes a puzzle involving transporting runestones to unlock additional passages. Solve the puzzle until you discover three uniquely numbered runestones, then backtrack west until you find three pillars where you can position them. For a visual solution, refer to the video below.

Spelunker
The cave mushroom was delivered to Arakarn!

After figuring out the rune puzzle, go through the newly opened hole. The mushroom will be to the east from there. Return it to Arakarn to unlock the CG for Flashback – Foraging with Warrick.

Locksmith
Dulft won’t be punished by Garret now.

To the east of the bathhouse, find a pickaxe and climb the mountain. Enter the door, locate a locked deer asking for a key. Descend, talk to a person near a cart, and climb back up the western portion to find a glowing spot. Use the pickaxe to free the key. Descend to discover the mine cart missing. Head east to find brothers; the key is in a box below them. After it’s stolen, talk to a nearby man. Climb back up, find a shiny rock near another miner, and use it near the hole where the key thief hid. Return to the deer and turn in the key.

Mountain Climber
The pure spring water was delivered to Arakarn!

Ask Garret for a way to get a sterile bottle; he’ll craft you one after a while. After freeing the deer inside the mines and getting the bottle back from Garret, climb up Flame Peaks and collect some water from the spring. Give it to Arakarn. This unlocks the Flashback – Taking The High Road CG.

Alchemist
All of the potion ingredients were delivered to Arakarn!

Obtained after completing Forest Ranger, Spelunker and Mountain Climber.

Claimed
Warrick made his claim.

After expressing your feelings to Warrick, a guard will tell you that the bandits who attacked you were caught. Get the lockbox for Garret to open, then show the poison vial to Arakarn and the parchment to Kalcephalos. When you return to Arakarn’s place, a guard will share information about an encounter with a messenger. Go to the ladder right next to the bathhouse to walk into his trap. This action unlocks the CG for Mountaintop Confession. Talk to Warrick in bed to unlock the CG for Warrick’s Late-Night Conversation. Climb up to the mountaintop and interact with the view. Upon returning to Warrick, choose the newly-opened option to unlock the CG for Warrick Claims Calen.

Engaging Destiny
Left Faranel for Dragon’s Roost.

Retrieve your sword from the shopkeeper and let Warrick know you’re ready to leave. Attention: This not only leads to the game’s epilogue but also prevents you from accessing the caves. I strongly recommend saving beforehand or making this your final achievement.

Faranel I

These achievements can be completed and unlocked at any point.

Matchmaker
Kalcephalos has a new decoration from an admirer.

Talk with Garret and Kalcephalos until they have nothing more to say. Eventually, Garret will discuss his glasswork and give you the Glass Bread. Give it to Kal.

Sous Chef
Returning the bag of flour offered a grand show of strength.

Keep talking to Kalcephalos until he mentions a bag of flour. Leave his store and head south, passing the windmill. Speak to the farmer near the water wheel. Return to the bakery, carrying the bag of flour.

Dragon Buns
Enjoyed a steamy treat from the secret menu.

Once Kal mentions a secret menu, go back to Arakarn’s house and sleep until night. Return to the bakery for a treat. Unlocks the CG for Kal’s Secret Menu.

Heat of Battle
Forged a new bond with the local blacksmith.

Chat with Garret until he talks about teaching you his craft and suggests a sparring match. Choose the ‘Sparring’ option to unlock the CG for Garret’s Training.

Miner
There are no more nodes to show Garret.

There are three nodes in the Verdure Forest, one in the Flame Peaks mountain path, and two in the Moorsh Grotto. Return to Garret after finding all six of them. Note: If you miss the Moorsh Grotto nodes during your first visit, don’t worry! You can get more thistle tea tickets after completing the Cat-tastrophe accolade and/or befriending Mandilitrio. Check out chapomon’s video for all their locations.

A Hard Surprise
Garret was thrilled to add a new geode to his collection.

Have Garret crack open the Smooth Rock for you. It can be found within one of the Moorsh Grotto nodes described by the Miner accolade (timestamped at 1:48 in the video above).

Bridging the Gap
Medwyn repaired the bridge!

With the ring of light in your possession (refer to the Runemaster accolade), enter the cave in Verdure Forest and go all the way to the west, being careful not to fall. After some platforming, you’ll pass by a waterfall. Climb the rock past the waterfall and continue until Calen mentions the broken bridge. Talk to Medwyn at the entrance of Verdure Forest, and return to the location after a while to discover that the bridge has been fixed.

Fragrant
Arakarn smells as lovely as a flower again.

After Medwyn successfully fixes the bridge, go ahead and cross it. Ascend to the top of the cliff and collect a fragrant flower. Then, present it to Arakarn.

Healing Touch
Enjoyed the company of a skilled healer.

After offering the flower to Arakarn, go through his dialogue until he brings up belly rubs. Sleep until night, then return to him for a mutual physical examination. Unlocks the CG for Arakarn’s Examination.

Duped
Arakarn will find a use for the other flowers.

Give Arakarn the other flowers found in the Verdure Forest. The pink flower is located by going west all the way after entering the forest, while the white flower can be found by taking the first entrance south after entering the forest, slightly to the west.

Faranel II

Reminiscing
Memories of Luca were uncovered in the hay.

In Faranel, go down towards the southern direction until you find the place with a windmill during the daytime. Right next to it, there’s a red barn. Once you’re inside, go up the stairs and interact with the hay on the top left. This action will unlock the CG for Remembering Luca.

Late-Night Snack
Snacks are always best enjoyed with a friend.

During the night, climb up the Lower Flame Peaks and head west near the ladder leading to Upper Flame Peaks. Keep going until you come across a hole. Descend parallel to the edge and land on the narrow terrain to discover a hidden path (refer to the image below). Continue eastward and inspect the pile of crates. Doing this will unlock the CG for Snacktime Behind the Boxes.

Endless Bounty
Discovered the mercenary and his werewolf companion.

Enter the cave in the Verdure Forest, making sure you have the light ring (learn how to get it from the Runemaster accolade). Inside the forest cave, locate a hidden cove by moving west from the entrance until you reach a wall that can be climbed down. After that, go west again, climb down another wall, and you’ll find the secret cove immediately to the east. When you approach, Calen will mention hearing voices. Keep listening through the diamond hole until Drok’tar talks about a bakery in town.

Look for Drok’tar in the bakery and engage in conversation until he mentions going to the store for supplies. Afterwards, find Drok’tar in the store next door and chat with him until he talks about heading to the tavern. Continue the conversation with him at the tavern. The next time you return to the hidden cove in the cave, a scene with Drok’tar will unfold, unlocking the CG called Underground with Drok’tar.

A Hero’s Ballad
Civ composed an epic ballad for Lozran of the Flame.

Meet and talk to the bard four times in different locations: first in the forest after climbing some vines, then near the top of the mountain singing next to a cliff’s edge, next at the top of the poisonous cave entrance, and finally in the tavern during nighttime.

Friends of a Feather
Chased away 100 birds!

Unlock the achievement naturally as you progress through the game by approaching any bird, causing it to fly away. If the achievement hasn’t unlocked by the end of the game, locate a group of birds in Faranel or the forest and walk back and forth to scare them off.

Every Dog Deserves Pets
Good dogs got good pets.

Pet Daisy and Chomp near the Teas and Tonics shop in Lower Farmlands. Note that Chomp will only be present if Cornelius Umlindi is there, and he may disappear at times. If Chomp is not there, try sleeping until dusk and check the location again.

Faranel (post-game)

Post-game refers to the events that can only occur after Warrick is healed.

A Friend to All
All of the NPCs have been talked to!

Talk to everyone in the game, including NPCs. Here’s a guide that tells you where each NPC is located. Remember, you can only chat with Warrick after he wakes up, so details about this achievement are found in this section.

Cat-tastrophe
Gavel’s cats have been returned to him!

Start the quest by having a chat with Gavel. Your mission is to find his lost cats and return them to him. Rollie hangs around the water wheel in Upper Farmlands, while Chuppo is chilling under a tree at the west end of Lower Faranel. Keep an eye out for Squid, who can be spotted climbing ladders in Upper Faranel. Upon completing this task, you’ll be rewarded with a Tea Voucher. Present this voucher to Warrick, and you’ll unlock the CG for Tea Time with Warrick.

One’s Trash
Garret appreciated the bag of ore he received.

Go back to where you finished the Runemaster puzzle, but only after you’ve completed the Cat-tastrophe accolade and gotten another red thistle tea. Look a bit lower, and you’ll spot an entrance that wasn’t there before. Enter, and you’ll meet Mandilitrio. Have a chat with him until he hands over the bag of ore. Take this bag and gift it to Garret.

Figured it Out
The town has a positive view of the bryovera!

Similar to the One’s Trash quest, engage in conversation with Mandilitrio until he gives you the Bryovera Figurine. Just like the Potato Connoisseur task, show it to everyone in town, then return to Mandilitrio. A list of where to find everyone is available in the next section.

Tasty
Kalcephalos is excited to cook with the new spices.

Again, akin to One’s Trash, keep talking to Mandilitrio until he teaches you the art of spice making. Give the bag of spice you acquire as a gift to Kalcephalos.

Underground Treat
Mandilitrio loved his mushroom.

Once you’re in Moorsh Grotto, head east until you reach the end, climb up the ladder past the runestone, and then find a climbable wall. Go up, head west from the top, making long jumps to avoid falling. While the platforming might be tricky, as long as you jump as far as possible, you’ll discover the mushroom at the end. After Mandilitrio mentions it in conversation, offer this mushroom as a gift to him.

Not So Scary
Showed a big guy some much deserved love.

Once you’ve shared the Bryovera figure with enough folks and talked Mandilitrio’s ear off, a special scene awaits you. This unlocks the CG for Mandilitrio’s Mossy Bath.

Spitting Image
This one can live.

Post your enjoyable time with Mandilitrio, he’ll mention crafting a statue of you. Locate it in his cave, climbing the wall behind him, to your right.

Bath Time
There’s a place for everyone to enjoy a warm bath again!

Continuing from the previous point, after your private moment with Mandilitrio, keep chatting with him until you inform him about the bathhouse needing repairs. Travel to Northern Verdure Forest (the first north entrance in the forest) and head all the way east. A new passage will appear, and there you’ll find Mandilitrio fixing the water. Return to the same spot after some time, and he’ll let you know that the water is flowing again. Talking to Selitrius unlocks the accolade. Presenting him with the soap bar you just acquired unlocks the CG Selitrius Backrub.

Even Softer
Arakarn’s even soften than realized.

Following the bathhouse repairs, offer the soap bar to Arakarn. This action unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Arakarn.

Rematch
Garret’s rematch ended in a draw.

Post-bathhouse repairs, gift the soap bar to Garret. This gesture unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Garret.

Dragon Soup
Kal’s recipe for dragon soup turned out perfectly.

After the bathhouse is back in action, present the soap bar to Kalcephalos. This move unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Kalcephalos.

A Full Belly
Warrick provided a most filling meal.

Once the bathhouse is up and running, hand the soap bar to Warrick. This unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Warrick.

Taste Test
Mandilitrio proved to have quite the refined palate.

With the bathhouse in prime condition, offer the soap bar to Mandilitrio. This unlocks the CG Bathhouse – Mandilitrio.
