This guide will show you how to get rid of the robo-corpses when looting in Atomic Heart. To get more loot when defeating enemies, freeze them first. This also prevents their corpses from cluttering the ground afterward. Another tactic is shooting them again after they’ve been revived by a Railgun, which vaporizes them permanently.
Looting Mechanic
You can only loot enemies once. However, the game will consistently attempt to repair robots. So, if you wait near a surveillance camera and eliminate robots in its view, the game will keep sending more until the area is overrun with useless robots.
Prevent this by utilizing your freeze ability on your left hand and mass telekinesis on your right. A frozen robot won’t leave a corpse after looting, ensuring the area doesn’t get cluttered. In my initial playthrough, I encountered over 100 robots without loot in a small area.
