The developer of Your Island -KIMI NO SIMA- has released a new update for the game on April 4, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Hello everyone.
I am pleased to announce that I have updated Your Island -KIMI NO SIMA-!
This will be the first update in about a year.
A new building “Castle”
The castle is a residence that is a higher level than the “huge house,” which was the highest level up to now.
Only the happiness level of the house itself is inferior to that of the “huge house,” but other parameters such as the amount of food, furniture, and garbage allowed, as well as the influence of the surrounding environment, are the greatest among all dwellings.
(The appearance of this item is conditional on the construction of a mithril factory.)
“Cultural Level 9”
Culture level 9 is the final level to reach.
There are no new elements or achievements for reaching this level, but we encourage you to try to reach it as the final level.
The number of buildings on the island is now displayed for each building.
In the palette’s building list, when you mouse over each item, the current number of buildings built is now displayed in the lower right corner of the materials and descriptions required for building construction.
In the case of specialties derived from bakeries, such as croissant shops and sandwich shops, the number of buildings is now listed in the same section of the bakery.
The “Candy House” bug has been fixed.
The “Candy House” has been impossible to build for a long time due to a bug, but this bug has finally been fixed.
(The appearance of the “Candy House” is conditional upon building a banana spread shop in Batisserie. Also, only one “Candy House” can be built on the island.)
A bug in the “Pictorial Book of Manufactured Goods” has been fixed.
Until now, there has been only one item in the “Pictorial Book of Manufactured Goods” that has never been permanently filled.
That item was “trash”.
With this modification, once a residence on the island is overflowing with “trash”, it will now be properly recorded in the Pictorial Book.
