Wave Break has been officially released on PC but it seems that many players have been experiencing audio and sound issues.

According to the report, PC players are not getting any sound from Wave Break. If you’re one of the players who have the same issue in the game, this guide will help you fix the Wave Break sound issue.

How to Fix Wave Break Sound Issue

In this troubleshooting guide, we will start with the most basic fixes that you can try to solve the Wave Break audio problem.

Method #1 – Setting the Default Audio Device

Sometimes, the default audio settings are being changed without our knowledge. While this is not happening regularly, there’s a chance that your installed software or new updates have changed it.

To fix this, simply click the audio icon on your taskbar and choose the speakers connected to your computer. This usually fixes almost every sound issue on your machine.

Method #2 – Update Your Audio Driver

In case the first method did not work for you, there’s a chance that your machine doesn’t have the latest audio drivers.

You have two options to get the latest update for your audio devices. The first is by simply getting the latest update from your manufacturer, which is a little bit time-consuming.

If you want to make your life easier, you can use Driver Booster to automatically fetch the latest audio driver for your PC. Download Driver Booster here.

Method #3 – Reinstalling Wave Break

This will be your last resort to fix the audio issues in Wave Break. There’s a chance that your Wave Break is corrupted that causes the missing sound in the game. But before you reinstall Wave Break, make sure to verify its file integrity first.

To verify the Wave Break’s file integrity:

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Go to Library and find Wave Break on the left side.
  3. Right-click and select Properties.
  4. Go Local Files tab and click Verify integrity of game files button.
  5. Wait until the verification is complete.
