A quick description on how to unlock co-op
What to do
To unlock the coop mechanic of the game you will have to clear the first 3 dungeons and unlock all three characters.
This will roughly take three hours.
After you arrive in Hoplard and cleared that third dungeon which unlocks the spear and come back to the Inn a cutscene will trigger that introduces the third character.
After a quick fight you unlock Co-op and can turn it on from the Main menu.
