The developer of Trans Ops has released a new update for the game on April 15, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
SteamCore Pro added.
This is a big update to the game. As of right now this affects joining matches and returning to the Simulated Lobby. This is much faster, and connections don’t drop off for a second. In the future Lobbies won’t be simulated and Steam account info will be visible in game. So much can be added with SteamCore.
Fixes/Working:
- Sessions show correct number of players in them.
- Fixed Crosshair dot, larger size.
- Fix FFA end game scores when “returning to lobby.”
- Remove R2 from deploy menu, causing player to respawn. Fixed? Need to test.
- Stats/playtime, need to test again.
Lobby Screen:
- Leaderboard button added. This button works leaderboard under Contruction.
- Settings Button Added. You able to set graphics, key bindings, and sensitivities in the lobby now.
- Team switching work continued. Teams should be set on join we will test this next test. This is just code not visual yet.
- Match points to win and round time add to match info window.
Maps:
- Fixed Trans Arena music and announcer replicated.
- Camp Confusion. Rebuilt lighting. Replicated missile drops and air riad fixed.
- Fixed Hidden Parts able to get inside wall killzone 1 near ex barrel. fixed on both maps, Also spot near armory.
- Add new music.
- DragStrip fires replicated.
- Waco fixed all lighting to lumen ray traced shadows, fixed SUV collision, draw call on cars turn off
- Fixed fires, and boom box.
Weapons:
- Tightend hip fire bloom on all weapons.
- Added M4 Custom
- Added M16A1S Custom
- Added M16A1
- Added Mac10
- Added AK74u – May not keep, working on animations in blender.
Character Selection:
- Fixed Character Select Music and Explosion
- Changed Character Selection Code again.
A lot of issues are going to get cleaned up in the next few updates. Then I’m going to be working on adding IK Bones to the characters so the move more fluid. Dedicated Servers coming soon! Real soon…
