This guide will show you how to get 100% achievements in The King of Fighters XV. Note that this guide may contain spoilers of the game. Continue reading at your own risk.

Story Mode

Thank You for Playing! – Cleared Story Mode for the first time.

  • You can change the number of rounds and difficulty in Options > Game, then setup to 1 round (default is 3) to make Story Mode faster. CPU level = 1 for easy fights.

Reach for the Top! – Cleared Story Mode with 3 official teams.

  • There are 15 Official teams, you can manually select the characters or pick one from the “Registered Team” menu at the top of the screen.

Burning to Fight! – Cleared Story Mode with 5 official teams.

  • There are 15 Official teams, you can manually select the characters or pick one from the “Registered Team” menu at the top of the screen.

Now or Never! – Cleared Story Mode with 10 official teams.

  • There are 15 Official teams, you can manually select the characters or pick one from the “Registered Team” menu at the top of the screen.

Who’s Next? – Cleared Story Mode with all random characters.

  • In Team (character) selection, you need to pick the option “Character Random” in the bottom right. Team Random doesn’t work for this achievement.

High-Scorer! – Achieved an SS clear rank in Story Mode.

  • You need Score around 300k points in a match. You don’t need to perfect all rounds, but you need a fair amount of HP (Life Bonus) and defeat the whole team with 1 character (Streak Bonus). Set lowest difficult for easy fights. Options > Game, then CPU level = 1.

Training

Daily Grind – Trained in Training Mode.

  • Go to Training mode from the main menu. Pick characters for Player 1 and Player 2, as soon as the mode loads, you will get the achievement.

Online Mode

Repeater – Fought online 10 times (excl. Room matches).

Regular Customer – Fought online 30 times (excl. Room matches).

OK! – Achieved your first victory online (excl. Room matches).

Sup – Won 10 ranked matches.

Piece of Cake! – Won 30 ranked matches.

Start of a Legend – Achieved your first ranked-match winning streak.

Master – Reached rank 16.

The Usual – Fought a Team VS match via Room match.

I Can Handle This Myself – Fought a Single VS match via Room match.

Let’s PARTY! – Fought a Party VS match via Room match.

Which Character to Use…? – Fought a Draft VS match via Room match.

Assemble! – Fought in a room you’ve created in Room match (any mode).

CONGRATULATIONS! – Increased your rank.

Profile

Title Holder – Acquired 10 titles.

  • Go to Profile from Main Menu (Online section), then Title. You get new titles for playing online matches (10 titles), winning online matches (11 titles), achieving Champion Rank (1 title), and completing trials (missions) with each character (39 titles). You need 10 new titles for this achievement.

Title Hoarder – Acquired 30 titles.

  • Go to Profile from Main Menu (Online section), then Title. You get new titles for playing online matches (10 titles), winning online matches (11 titles), achieving Champion Rank (1 title), and completing trials (missions) with each character (39 titles). You need 30 new titles for this achievement.

Title Master – Acquired 50 titles.

  • Go to Profile from Main Menu (Online session), then Title. You get new titles for playing online matches (10 titles), winning online matches (11 titles), achieving Champion Rank (1 title), and completing trials (missions) with each character (39 titles). You need 50 new titles for this achievement.

Tutorial

Gotta Master the Basics! – Cleared all tutorial trials.

  • You need to clear both Tutorial modes: Basic Moves and Attack Modes.

DJ Station

SNK NEO SOUND RECORDS – Customized music at the DJ Station.

  • The DJ Station let us change the music of the Stages. You can select tracks from the unlocked Albums (20 albums in total). You can set up 3 custom lists. Main Menu > DJ Station > Custom Entry > Select 1 Slot > Then choose a track for each stage (Press Space to confirm)

Memorable Tunes – Unlocked 5 albums in the DJ Station.

from Esaka – Unlocked 10 albums in the DJ Station.

  • There are 20 albums in Total:
    • KoF XV (unlocked by default)
    • KoF XIV (unlocked by default)
    • KoF XIII (Clear Story mode with Elizabeth, King and ????)
    • KoF XII (Clear Story mode with Kyo, K’ and ????)
    • KoF XI (Clear Story mode with Isla, K’ and ????)
    • KoF 2003 (Clear Story mode with Yuri, Athena and ????)

Missions

Mission Complete – Cleared all single-person mission trials.

Technician – Cleared all two-person mission trials.

Birth of the Greatest Team – Cleared all three-person mission trials.

Miscellaneous

Perfect Fighter – Achieved 10 perfect wins (excludes PvP versus modes).

  • The PvP part in the description means you cant get this achievement playing with 2 controllers. You can get achievements playing vs CPU with Handicap or in any online mode. Versus > Single VS > Normal > Player 1 vs CPU > Select Character > Setup Handicap, Lv 5 for you, LV 1 for CPU to make the things easier.

Breakneck Speed – Landed 50 or more hits in a single combo (any mode).

One Punch – Dealt 900 or more damage in a single combo (any mode).

Revenge! – Punished 20 times (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • A punish refers to attacking an opponent who is recovering from performing a move. It is easier to “punish” whiffed (missed) attacks, as well as attacks that have long recovery time or attacks that are very minus on block. In contrast with safe attacks, moves that are punishable are referred to as “unsafe”. A counter hit or counter is a term for an attack that hits another player while they are in the process of performing an attack. If you doing correctly Punish, you will see a message in the bottom left. Above the Power Gauge bar.

Shatter Strike! – Landed a Shatter Strike (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • “When you have one or more power gauge blocks, perform a forward quarter-circle then press Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick to perform a Shatter Strike”. To get this achievement you need to finish off the opponent with Shatter Strike. You can get it in Versus (vs CPU) and in any Online mode.

That’s Gotta Hurt! – Landed 20 Shatter Strikes (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • “When you have one or more power gauge blocks, perform a forward quarter-circle then press Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick to perform a Shatter Strike”. To get this achievement you need to finish off 20 opponents with Shatter Strike. You can get it in Versus (vs CPU) and in any Online mode.

Time to Get Serious! – Activated Max 20 times (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • When you have two or more power gauge blocks, press Light Kick and Heavy Punch to Activate MAX Mode. This achievement is kind of buggy since you need to use it over 20 times the MAX Mode. You can play on Versus vs CPU, using Handicap Lv 5 in order to start with max Power Gauge.

Just Getting Started! – Activated Quick Max 20 times (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • Activating MAX mode upon landing a regular attack or command mode will activate MAX Mode (Quick). This also works if the attacks are blocked. You can play on Versus vs CPU, using handicap Lv 5 in order to start with max Power Gauge.

Secret Technique Time! – Achieved a K.O. with a Climax Super Special Move (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • Climax Super Special Move is the strongest special move of each character. It requires 3 Power Gauge to use. The command always contains Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick buttons, you can find them in the fourth window of the command list. To get this achievement, finish off opponent with it.

Pause Menu > Command List > Climax Super Special Move

You can play on Versus vs CPU, using handicap Lv 5 in order to start with max Power Gauge.

CLIMAX K.O.! – Achieved 20 K.O.s with a Climax Super Special Move (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

  • Climax Super Special Move is the strongest special move of each character. It requires 3 Power Gauge to use. The command always contains Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick buttons, you can find them in the fourth window of the command list. To get this achievement, finish off 20 opponents with it.

Pause Menu > Command List > Climax Super Special Move

You can play on Versus vs CPU, using handicap Lv 5 in order to start with max Power Gauge.

Surprise Attack! – Executed 20 Climax Cancels (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

MAX K.O.! – Achieved 20 K.O.s with a Max Super Special Move (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

The History Here Is Different – Executed 20 Advanced Cancels (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

SUPER K.O.! – Achieved 20 K.O.s with a Super Special Move (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

Playtime Is Over! – Executed 20 Super Cancels (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

Fruits of Labor – Executed 20 K.O.s with an EX Special Move (excl. PvP matches/training mode).

Turning the Tables! – Performed 10 reversals(excl. PvP matches/training mode).

Gotcha! – Successfully executed 10 throws(excl. PvP matches/training mode).
