Hello, we are the development team behind “The Game of Sisyphus.”
With this update, the difficulty has slightly increased.
The balance update includes the following changes:
- Some overly challenging sections have been slightly adjusted.
- The force of boulders falling downward has slightly increased.
- The strength to hold boulders manually has slightly decreased.
Since the release, some players found the default gameplay too difficult to progress.
Therefore, we significantly lowered the difficulty level (Update 4/12).
However, this update inadvertently made sections with uneven floors too easy and almost non-functional as intended.
Additionally, the slowed speed of falling boulders led to too many instances where boulders were stopped safely.
To address these issues, we conducted this update.
With this update, the difficulty has increased by approximately 20% from the previous downward adjustment level.
However, please do not worry as the increase in difficulty is not significant.
Our goal is to make our game accessible to most players.
While Rage Games that require over 20 hours of play might be entertaining for streaming, we aim to create a game where anyone can feel a sense of accomplishment with just time and patience.
For skilled players, challenging yourself with heavier and harder-to-control balls like Iron ball, Bronze ball, etc., can be rewarding.
