Hello! Im about to show you how you design a safe yet easily upgradable and usable statue farm for terraria 1.4.4 since lava and traps do not allow loot drops. There are some requirements that are fairly easy to obtain in both classic and expert mode. (Warning im not a pro but this guide will net lots of lens so you can easily farm gold )
Full Setup And Requirements!!
1. This guide is meant for classic/expert.
2. You will need to farm for the flinx staff. (increased flinx spawn in cavern snow biome layer.)
3. A few statues that spawn mobs, it can be anything you like, just remember some statues will spawn hardmode enemies but will not drop loot. Look for the pre-hardmode ones.
4. Unlocked the Mechanic for wires and the 1/4th timer..
5. Weapons and gear used as follows: Full set bee armor. Any summoning trinkets you like. Bewitched Table for extra Flinx. Minishark with tons of ammo ( you will have plenty of ammo at this point in the game.)
6. A very few amount of resources for building in linked screenshots. (It doesn’t have to be exactly the same, it can be built vertical as well.)
7. This one is optional but a bed placed under your farm area if its horizontal like mine.(That way if your setting is only drop gold when you die, you’ll pick it up right after you respawn.)
8. The true money maker is all the lenses you get. Meant for farming Eye of Cthulhu. (Expert gives treasure bags with lots of gold and some unique pieces.)
9. After about 1 hour of farming this, it may not seem like much but is a good way to also get the compass for your tinkerers construct table. (Goblin Required)
10.Modify it and post as much as you want, however to who it may concern, the image i used is not mine and it belongs to its respective owners. (Didn’t really have much for a picture lol )
11. Forgot to add you have to click inside the boxed area where the statues are with your Flinx staff to spawn them in that area. Do not move too far away, otherwise your Flinx will follow you and you will have to drop the minion buff and respawn them in the box.
12. If ya don’t get a eyeball statue, you may not net the lens shown as its a required statue for this guide, but anything above will still be worth for other statues that spawn monsters, so ya might get something else you’re looking for. Change up the spawnable statues that are not critters and enjoy the loot tables for each. 😉
