The developer of Steel Symphony has released a new update for the game on April 18, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
General:
- Icon graphic in lobby/host that indicates is a player is in configuration added.
- Icon graphic for equipment slots available (like module slots) added.
- Host’s Start button flashes once all players have Readied Up.
- Player’s Ready Up button flashes intermittently until pressed.
- Laserbeam sfx volume leveled.
- 1x quad damage power-up spawn maximum within 10 minutes.
- 1x infinite energy power-up spawn maximum within 10 minutes.
- Camera auto-centers on respawn.
- Rapid loader description updated to include RoF penalty.
Bug Fixes:
- EMP scan perma-decloaking bug fixed.
- Scorpion shoulder cloak issues fixed.
- Energy weapons still able to fire after energy loss fixed.
- Absolute Zero damage bugs fixed.
- Naming a saved bot whilst in lobby or game host no longer types name in the chat box.
- Lance hitbox not connecting consistently issue potentially fixed.
- Fusion Blade Arm able to fire its melee attacks w/o enough energy (does no damage, but – consumes the energy nonetheless) fixed.
- Powerups creating layer mask on wrong layer bug fixed.
- Precursor equipment display inconsistency fixed.
- Bug fix issue when firing both pulse laser and laserbeam prevents either from being fired correctly fixed.
