The developer of SOS: Forgotten Planet Pre-Alpha Playtest has released a new update for the game on April 19, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
-Changed graphics settings so the game looks more retro
-Limited manual saving to the safe zone and added autosaves when going through portals
-Added a cap to inventory size, with ways of upgrading at the workbench
-Can drop items from inventory
-Added storage containers to store you loot in at the safe zone
-Changed how doors listen to sent codes. All doors within a specific distance will open/close when you send a code now, instead of just the closest one.
-Fixed a bug where space in between letters in chest codes was too short by about half(sorry)
-Added a new resource called cloth, used for inventory upgrades and more.
-Made both left mouse button and right mouse button input morse beeps.
-Refactored items so I can now make items have more than one effect. Not using it quite be will be using it much more soon.
-Stop Joseph spawning in safe zone
