This guide will show you how to unlock and get all Sheepy: A Short Adventure achievements. As of writing, the game features a total of 30 achievements.
Story-Related Achievements
I don’t have anything specific to say right now, so here are all of the thoughts I have, presented in order:
I believe I can fly
…but no you can’t, because you’re a sheep.
What?
Something happened here…
Double jump!
“Taking You Higher”
Hi Patches!
You made a new friend!
It’s working!
Such an engineer.
Time to run!
GOTTA GO FAST
The way of the rabbit
Run as fast as you can.
Complicated relationship
You showed Patches who’s the boss.
Weird magic…
But now you can fly.
Oh!
I know this place!
The End
You finished the game.
Missable Achievements
These achievements can be missed, so make sure that you follow the instructions below. If you missed these achievements, you have to replay the game once again.
Hello?
“Your estimated wait time is forever.”
- When you start Chapter 2, head left and interact with the phone..
You spin me right ’round
BABY, RIGHT ‘ROUND
- At the beginning of Chapter 3, once you descend the elevator, you’ll have the chance to climb to the top of the tower. Inside the office, there’s a chair you can spin on. Just hop onto it and move in any direction.
It’s just a flower…
It feels nostalgic here.
- In Chapter 3, there’s a hidden cave with a lever and a flower below it. I’ll provide more details on this in the Vinyl section.
Shine bright like a crystal
You lit all the crystals!
- Throughout Chapter 3, you’ll come across numerous crystals that illuminate when Sheepy approaches them. Chances are you’ll activate them all while searching for the vinyl in this area.
Ancient trap
Archaeologist is a dangerous job.
- After departing from the main area of Chapter 3, you’ll descend into the rift. On the right side at its base, you’ll spot the skeleton of an archaeologist. Is it wise to venture in this direction?
It’s a hard one…
You can do it!
- Experience a few defeats against the boss in Chapter 5.
You found Sheepy!
Wait, another Sheepy?
- Upon starting Chapter 6, head left and utilize running and flying upgrades to soar as far to the left as possible.
Your destiny…
… is awaiting you.
- This achievement is typically tied to the story, but I accidentally bypassed it. In Chapter 6, just before the conclusion, you’ll encounter a golden tablet. Interact with it.
SHEEPY STRONG
You finished the game without dying.
- To defeat Sheepy without dying, you’ll need to employ some skill. While the game is generally easy, the second boss might pose a challenge. One effective strategy is to bait Patches into using his downward attack repeatedly. This move is easy to evade by hopping between higher and lower sections of his arena.
That’s a record!
You beat the game in 45 minutes.
- Act like you’re a speedrunner and finish the game on or before 45 minutes time.
Hello, speedrunner.
You beat the game in 30 minutes.
- Speedrun achievements in this game are quite manageable. To obtain both of them, you simply need to complete the game within 30 minutes. After finishing the game for the first time, start a new game and blitz through the campaign. It only took me around 20 minutes without feeling rushed. And remember to utilize a trick from the SHEEPY STRONG achievement to aid your speedrun.
Lore master
You listened to all the tapes.
- You need to listen to all the lore tapes scattered throughout the game. There aren’t any secret ones, so you’ll likely come across all of them while completing other tasks.
Vinyl Collectibles
Vinyl #0
You’re a smart one, aren’t you?
- Right from the start of the game, just head left.
Vinyl #1
The first one!
- After the fall in Chapter 1 for the “I believe I can fly” achievement, proceed straight to the right.
Vinyl #2
The second one!
- As you descend further into Chapter 2, you’ll reach a location depicted in the screenshot. Simply perform a double jump to reach it, then proceed to the right.
Vinyl #3
The third one!
Open the door!
You have activated the 6 levers.
- To access the vinyl and earn both achievements, you’ll need to activate six levers. Here’s a breakdown of their locations:
The first lever is found in the office atop the tower, where you earned the “You spin me right ’round” achievement.
Directly beneath the tower in a pit, you’ll find the second lever.
Proceed to the right from the previous lever until you encounter suspicious climbing holds. These lead to a secret cave housing the third lever. Additionally, you’ll find the flower required for the “It’s just a flower…” achievement here.
Take the upper path and eventually you’ll come across a room filled with huge crystals. Head left and upwards to ascend through a passage to find the fourth lever.
As you progress deeper into the level, locate a room with a press and an elevator. At the top of the room, there’s a secret entrance leading to the fifth lever.
Just before reaching the end of this area, you’ll spot a hole in the ground. Jump down and continue descending and moving to the right until you encounter a large elevator. This elevator will take you to the sixth lever and the vinyl.
Vinyl #4
Almost done!
- After obtaining the run upgrade halfway through, backtrack a bit and you’ll find a climbing hold you can jump to. Follow this path to discover the vinyl.
Vinyl #5
The last one?
- At a certain point in Chapter 6, you’ll come across a massive precipice you need to cross. Look for a secret entrance located on the bottom right side of it.
