This guide will cover the fundamental aspect of the combat system. Hope it can help you get familiar with the dice and skills.

Basic intro

Sea Horizon uses dice as the resources to play skills. A player can take up to 5 skills into a fight. Items also play a critical role in combat as they can give players different advantages.

All the enemies would be shown on the map for players to plan their route. The yellow icons represent the enemies, and the combat starts as the players step on them.

Players

At the beginning of the fight, the system will roll all the dice on the equipment for you. Each dice has six sides, and there are 4 colors of elements and miss for each side. More potent weapons and armors have more dice count and are less likely to miss.

All these elements will become the resources that can be used to play skills. Considering random resources and limited uses of each skill, you must think through every move.

Hovering on a skill will show the special effect of skills if there is one.

You can also see the buff and debuff on each character.

If you want to play the skill multiple times, you only need to pick the skill once and click on the target repeatedly.

The icon on the lower left is an item such as a healing potion or other useful buffs you can use in a fight. Sometimes those potions can make a big difference.

After playing all the skills, you can end your turn by clicking “End Turn.” The icon “N” indicates the next in-action character (which could be an enemy or ally).

Enemies

The enemies don’t share the same system as you. But you can see their intention floating above them. To get more info about their move, you can hover over them and see different intentions such as attack, block, or debuffing.

Playing your cards based on enemies’ actions is essential, so make sure you check on them, especially for those you have never seen before.

That's everything we are sharing today for this Sea Horizon guide. This guide was originally created and written by Myrihyn. In case we fail to update this guide, you can find the latest update by following this link.
