In the Three Kingdoms strategy games, generals are super duper important. Having strong generals is like having the key to winning.
Now, how do you actually get more generals?
Firstly, you can bring in wandering generals. They pop up every January, and the more cities you own, the better your chances of finding them. In the beginning, your main city starts with three wandering generals nearby. It takes 1 labor and 10 days to bring them onto your team.
Secondly, you can snatch enemy generals. When you have your own generals, build up some troops, and head toward nearby enemy forces. Beat them in a battle, and when you wipe out the enemy, you capture all their generals. Then, you can try to recruit them. But here’s the twist – not all of them might want to join you. Some might choose to go down fighting instead. In that case, you can decide whether to spare or release them.
If you release them, these captured generals might show up in a city randomly in January of the following year. If you’re lucky and they appear in a city you control, you can add them to your team.
