Guide describing which specialty goods each region has in the Sailing Era game.

Introduction

This guide shows which specialty goods each area produces. Specialty goods have two benefits that make them interesting for trade purposes.

The first benefit is that during a culture prominent state of a city, goods from that culture will sell for 200%+ of the usual base price. In practice, this means that goods you buy can lead to a very high-profit rate (up to 900% depending on other bonuses).

The second benefit is that selling specialty goods in another port gives a contribution. This can potentially be a very easy way to get a lot of contributions without having to rely on commerce guild contracts or bounties.
