This guide shows how to get the secret ending and achievement.
Introduction and Tips
To unlock the Straight achievement, the conditions of the secret ending have to be met, so you can talk to Catherine at the Whiterain Tavern. These conditions are:
- No affinity unlocks with any guys (Make sure you fail every minigame)
- No “Favorite Customer” affinity with Merchants
- No “Came Over”
- Defeat Cursed King Tyran
It is easier to unlock the secret (straight) end in New Game +. You can bring resources and gear into the new game from your previous save file. Also, you can auto repair building, but you still need to collect the quest item. I recommend that you bring the One Ring, the One Plug, and Excaliballs. Also, scrolls are removed from your gear.
Tips: I was able to defeat Grant X and Cursed King Tyran with one Orc’s Favourite Dish each. A good alternative is Chef’s Frog Legs (25 Meat, 10 Fruit, 1 Gold Ore each) if you don’t need the extra Focus and Vitality. Also, you cannot re-scroll your gear because it requires three affinity with Horace.
Preparations
Note:If I say [Place] x, that means x scene at place. Example, Highwood Forest 2 means go to Highwood Forest, scene two. Also, some areas have sub-areas, so [place] x – b means scene x’s sub area. Days do not matter, but it is a good tracker. I did this route in 1.5 hours
Before starting New Game Plus, you should prepare some resources and gear in your old sale file to make the run easier. Resource collection will be limited to ensure that no affinity levels are gained.
Prep:
- Play through the Main Game until after the final fight with King Tyran
- Make the One “True” C(l)ock Ring at Hanth’s Forge with 50 Gold Ore (Giant Lyod’s minigame or badass duel), 50 Rough Diamond (Dueling in Lavalanch 2), and 50 Black Ore (dueling in Solitude Peak 3)
- Buy the One “True” Butt Plug from the daddy orc in Ultima Plug in Glory Dungeon with 50 Gold Ore, 50 Rough Diamond, and 50 black ore
- Complete Dododo side quest
- Collect 210 Meat (dueling in Eden’s Beach 1), 90 Fruit (Feasterra 1), 6 Black Ore, and 600 Coins (King Tyran’s minigame or duel)
- Quit and start New Game Plus on same Save File
Route (New Game Plus)
Day One
- Run away from the guards (Doesn’t impact the ending but faster than going into the hatch)
- Complete tutorial but fail Hubert’s minigame
- Sleep
Day Two
- Talk to Orderic and fail minigame
- Talk to Gregor and fail minigame
- Build house and Sleep
Day Three + Four
- Repair house
- Go to Eden’s Bench 3 to get Valdo’s spear and go to Highwood Forest 3 to get Hanth’s anvil
Day Five
- Store gifts (We’ll need the inventory)
- Repair the docks and fail minigame
- If you have unlocked all the recipes, make 2 to 6 Orc’s Favourite dishes (210 Meat, 90 Fruit, 6 Black Ore). If not, you’re need to farm resources to unlock the final recipe (115 Meat, 45 Fruit, 1 Copper Ore, 1 Silver Ore, 1 Gold Ore, 1 Rough Diamond).
- Repair the Forge and fail minigame
- Fight Dark Knight
Day Six, Seven, and Eight
- Save Rafaelo in Dustridge 3 – b, Arthur in Rusty Valley 3 – b , and Liam in Whiterain 3 – b
Day Nine
- Participant in Beton’s Tournament
Day Ten
- Go to Golden Sand 2 – c to get stone manhood from temple
- Fail Hubert’s minigame or duel to progress to night-time
- Restore the King Status manhood and ride that sucker
- Follow revealed path and Defeat Guard (aka Zack)
- Go to main foyer
- Go to left side room of the Main Foyer and Bribe Inferno Trio with 600 coins
- Participant in Grant’s Tournament
Day Eleven
- Fight King and fail (No “Came Over” exception)
- Fail Astaroth’s minigame
- Repair Glory Dungeon
- Go to Solitude Peak and defeat all three Dark Knights (Green, Purple, and Blue)
- Defeat Grant X (Use Orc’s Favorite Dish if in red) and break seal.
Day Twelve
- Fight the King (Use Orc’s Favorite Dish if in red) and win
Day Thirteen
- Go to Whiterain 2 and fail two duels to progress to night-time.
- Go to Whiterain 4 and talk to Catherine
