This guide will show you how a casual player obtained the Monsoon Mastery Skins in hopes that other casual players who may be intimidated or frustrated will be able to as well. These stats are a bit of cheese and not as complex as some of the others we’ve read.

Getting Started

This will most likely be the hardest part of the whole run. To start to select your character and set it to Monsoon then choose artifacts: You will want Artifact of Command (looks like a crown, allows you to choose items). I also used Artifact of swarms (looks like three orbs in a circle, doubles spawn but halves their health)

The first thing you’re going to want is a “Topaz brooch” (looks like a yellow badge, white quality item) this will allow you a temporary shield on a kill that will be extra useful with the swarm artifact and spawn rate of monsoon also with the adds on bosses it will be a nice shield to have (shield is also not affected by heal block effects).

Next, you will want the crowbar(more damage to healthy enemies) to get easier activation of the brooch as well as a spread damage item such as the green quality ukulele. around 3-4 items in you will want to start the first boss try not to linger too long.

Shop/Secret Area

Keep getting a balanced amount of damage and defensive items. While not necessary if you get into a semi-good spot (around stage 3) find the newt shrine looks like a blue rock costs 1 lunar coin.

This spawns a portal after you defeat the stage boss. upon entering the portal you will enter a shop zone, underneath where you spawn in falling a bit will be a cave leading to a portal. Entering starts a king of the hill event ending with a legendary item on the final claimed point.

The Cheese

When you get to stage 5 don’t go to the boss. Get to the artifact computer under the cliffs of the map, when you do you will want to enter artifact of sacrifice Row 1&2 will be triangles row 3 is triangle diamond triangle. After the pattern enters the portal and you can farm the artifact room to your heart’s content.

While in here the difficulty won’t increase you will see the timer paused and the monsters that spawn can drop items pretty much endlessly. I usually go till I get one legendary but you can go till your confident or just go till you are god-like. Once you finish rushing the stage exits you shouldn’t need anything in the stages and don’t want to give the timer any more scaling. Get to stage 8 and the exit will spawn a portal you use to obliterate yourself earning you the skin.

Congrats on your new mastery skin!
