This guide will show you how to spawn AI tanks in Operation: Panzerkrieg mod in Company of Heroes 2.

Operação: Panzerkrieg is a mod that changes the way the game mode works in COH1. Neste modo, you usually play against other players (JxJ), but here’s a cool thing: you can also play with computer-controlled tanks if you want. You just need to do a few things yourself to make it happen.

Setting Up The Game

1. Primeiro, make a custom game or be the host.

3. Choose the tuning pack as “Operation Panzerkrieg.”
4. Set the win condition to “CheatCommands Mod II (VPC).”
5. Decide how many victory points you want.
6. Before you start the game, remember to remove all commander and intel slots.

Spawning AI Tanks

1. Clique no “CheatCommands” menu button at the top-left corner.
2. Agora, clique no “Jogo, IA & FoW” botão.

4. Pick one of the commander doctrines for the AI.

Método 2: AutoHotKey

Método 1 works well, but it can be a bit tricky to click through menus during the game. No entanto, there’s a clever solution. You can create a macro script using AutoHotKey. This script makes it super easy to spawn AI tanks with just one key press on the number pad, and it can do other things too. It simplifies the process and makes it more convenient.

The Script

Tudo bem, here’s what you need to do first. Make sure you’ve got AutoHotKey installed (you can find the link above to download it). Once you’ve got that sorted, go ahead and download the script from the PasteBin link provided. Save it as a .ahk file.

Agora, you’re almost ready to roll. Double-click the script file, and AutoHotKey will run it. You’ll notice a green ‘H’ in the bottom-right icon tray. This little green ‘H’ is a sign that the script is up and running.

Key Binds

The keys I’ve set up are on the number pad because they aren’t usually used in COH2. When you press one of these keys listed below, AutoHotKey does the mouse work for you:

• Press the dot to switch the zoom mode.
• Hit numbers 1 para 8 to bring in an AI tank for that player’s slot.
• For taking control of a slot, press CTRL + the number associated with it.

Perguntas frequentes & Solução de problemas

Will the AI tanks respawn automatically?

• Infelizmente, não, they won’t. You’ll still have to use the hotkeys to bring back the AI tanks. That’s precisely why I created the AHK script in the first place – to make respawning AI tanks as easy as pressing a button.

I’ve lost the ability to click on things!

• If your cursor is showing a “no way” icon and it’s causing trouble, you’ll have to quit the match, which is a bit of a bummer. This usually happens when you take over player slots too quickly. I strongly recommend waiting a second or two before hitting the next hotkey.

Can I edit your script?

• Absolutamente! If you think you can make it better, feel free to edit it. I’d be interested in seeing your improvements.

Does this work on 4K, ultra-wide, or other resolutions?

• I’ve only got a 1080p monitor, so I can’t test it on other resolutions. The screen coordinates may need adjustments for different resolutions.

When I spawn an AI tank, I’m still in control of that AI player.

• Just to clarify, when you spawn an AI tank, it won’t switch you back to your player slot automatically. You’ll need to switch back to your own slot using the appropriate CTRL+Number hotkey.
