There’s no shortage of exotic submarines in the Europan waters, but to be aboard this vessel is an achievement of its own! Be that as it may, there are many things to learn about it before you plunge into the depths, and this manual will guide you through them.

Capitão

Command Terminal
Being at the front of the ship, the captain has access to the most amount of information compared to any other role in the submarine. With an advanced command terminal you will be able to see statistics when it comes to energy, hull breaches, and other items. All new or inexperienced captains should beware as the engine can exceed normal speeds that you see in more common submarines, the highest recorded horizontal speed being 45km/h.

Electrically Charged Windows
The Diver comes equipped with electric coils in front of the captain’s viewing window. It is recommended to exercise restraint when activating them, as doing so can jump the power higher than the reactor allows. The activation button can be found directly next to the window, with a small indicator above it.

Arsenal
Adjacent to the bookshelves, secure lockers can be found with multiple weapons. All items within these lockers can prove very useful from creature control to riot containment. Use with caution, as some items may have explosives.

Gunnery
As a security officer, you are responsible for ensuring the safety of the submarine as well as your crewmates and passengers. Para fazer isso, you will be utilizing multiple areas. The most important area is the gun control room. There are seven total outside guns on the submarine, six coilguns, and one railgun, all periscopes are set in places similar to where they are outside of the vessel. To reload the railgun, you may find extra shells in the cargo bay, but exercise caution as 1/3 of railgun shells in newly manufactured Thornz-Class vessels will be nuclear. In accordance with Section 267-D of Europan law on the operation of nuclear weapons, all shells containing radioactive material have been marked with a red tint.

Arsenal
Although there is a smaller armory in the command room, a larger one can be found on the top floor, next to the engine. These weapons are commonly used for missions done outside of the vessel, such as eliminating nests or search and rescue. A flamer is included for removing ballast flora.

Medical Officer

Medbay
The Diver aims to reduce crewmate fatalities, and part of that includes the supply of numerous medical devices. If there is something that you do not have in the storage lockers, you will be able to find materials in cargo to fabricate your ideal remedies.

Biological Material Dump
Despite your best efforts, sometimes a member of the vessel may reach a state beyond saving. Should this happen, it is recommended to remove all important items from their body and place their corpse into the designated dump site on the submarine. The button to open its secure door is found on the side of the medical fabricator, and the room itself may be found adjacent to the fabrication machines above, marked with a large skull indicator.

Engenheiro

Reator
The Diver’s reactor is the most straightforward part of the submarine, starting automatically at the beginning of every mission unless manually stopped, but do not mistake that as making your job easier. This vessel is very large, which means that there are a lot of factors that can come into play and require a stronger load from the reactor. The consequences of this can range from a junction box requiring more maintenance than normal, to fires breaking out. Two fire extinguishers have been installed on each side of the reactor for this reason.

Mecânico

Engine Room
As a mechanic, you’ll be tasked with the maintenance of machines like engines and pumps. You can find the engine room in the top left of the submarine, past the armory. It should be known that the engine may fall into disrepair when it jumps from not moving/lower speeds to very high speed.

Fabricação
The fabrication room is a key part of the vessel, being that it contains more than just fabrication equipment. This includes oxygen tank storage, and the oxygen generator itself. Be sure to maintain these machines.
