This guide talks about what to do next and how to secure Rosewood. It also mentions the essential things you need to survive. Unfortunately, there are no screenshots yet, but they will be added soon.

The Rosewood Grinding

This part is all about what to do once you have enough food, water, and a safe place in Rosewood. It suggests scouting the town, marking the map with a pen or pencil to remember important things like valuable loot or areas with many zombies. The guide advises marking fast and unblocked paths for easy navigation. A crucial step is tuning the radio to the emergency broadcast channel, which varies in each new game save and can be found as a preset channel on certain radios.

Starting the One-Man Militia

Now, let’s talk about starting the One-Man Militia. While not mandatory, it’s highly recommended to explore specific Points of Interest (POIs).

I’ll discuss the gear you need and where to find it. Begin by checking military locations, such as the military barracks (great for food and maybe a military backpack) and the one in the woods west of Rosewood. Though not personally looted, there’s mention of finding a gun on one of the army zombies guarding it. Accumulate enough loot, including a bulletproof vest or other armor, then thoroughly loot any remaining stores or locations. With this gear, you should be strong enough to tackle the next area.

Leaving Rosewood

Now, for the next move – simply leave Rosewood. Seriously, Rosewood is small, and the zombies are a constant issue. Begin scouting for a suitable location in the outskirts of the town. Look for a place not too far from the city but with road access. With your carpentry skills by now, you can cut down wood and build a nice shack. Keep in mind, you can take the survivor out of Rosewood, but you can’t take the Rosewood out of the survivor.

That's everything we are sharing today for this Project Zomboid guide. This guide was originally created and written by Treebox [Armory]. In case we fail to update this guide, you can find the latest update by following this link.
