This guide will tell you all the values of Secured Loot in Payday 3. These values are for Overkill difficulty. If people want, I might include values for easier difficulties too.

Overview

This guide was made to help you understand the value of the loot you’re securing. While creating this guide, I discovered some interesting information that I’ll share here.

Specifically, this guide covers all the loot that can be bagged and secured. Please note that it doesn’t include loose cash because loose cash has hidden decimal values that are challenging to determine without data mining.

The value of the loot depends on how the heist ends. If you complete the heist in Loud mode (after an assault), certain loot items can change in value. The same goes for completing the heist in Stealth mode (before an assault). The timing of when the loot is turned in doesn’t matter; it’s the way the heist ends that determines the value. The value is unique for each heist, and you’ll find more details below.

To determine if you’re in stealth or loud, pay attention to whether you receive a notification that says “Alarm has been set off.” You don’t have to wait for the actual assault wave to start to consider it loud. If you haven’t left the mission by the time the alarm goes off, then it’s considered loud. Otherwise, you’ll be in stealth mode as long as the alarm hasn’t sounded.

The loot value is quite consistent in this guide, and it specifically pertains to Overkill difficulty. If there’s a demand for it, I may update this guide later with information about other difficulties.

While creating this guide, I couldn’t confirm if there is a “Heist Payment” for completing the heist. If that value exists, it will be added to the loot required to turn in, as you can’t obtain that value without securing the loot in any case.

I’ve also spent time figuring out which heists are best for Money Per Minute, but as I got better at running them, the time varied significantly depending on whether it was done with a team or solo and how well we handled the situation. For instance, “Under the Surphaze” may be the best for Money Per Minute if you have a team of four that can rush and grab everything in loud.

Many heists also offer great value by starting in stealth and then going loud at the last moment to maximize earnings, as this allows you to gain the loud values on the secured bags.

“Plastic Money” means money that’s wrapped in plastic and sealed with ink. On the other hand, “Deposit Money” refers to the large money bundles you find in deposit boxes. If the money gets damaged by ink, its value is reduced by 50%. I’ve confirmed this through stealth, but I haven’t checked if it’s the same in loud yet. I’ll update this guide once I do. Until then, I’ll assume it’s a 50% reduction for the sake of completing this guide.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Plastic Money $56,100 $61,200 8 $448,800 $489,600
Deposit Money $1,700 $1,700 2 $3,400 $3,400
Total 10 $452,200 $493,000

Road Rage

Road Rage [Overkill Difficulty]

There is no stealth for this mission.

Loot Loud Quantity Max Loud Value
Rare Element $136,000 6 $816,000
Money $45,050 4 $180,200
Total 10 $996,200

Dirty Ice

In this heist, there are two kinds of jewelry. The “Vip Jewelry” is located in the back, behind the QR-locked door. The other jewelry can be collected from the front. Cleaning these items takes 30 seconds in the machine for each one! So, even if you’re doing it efficiently, cleaning all the bags can be time-consuming. Please note that the “Rare Stone” cannot be cleaned. The value will be labeled as “Cleaned” or “Dirty” to show whether it has been cleaned or not.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Front Jewelry (Cleaned) $25,500 $20,400 8 $204,000 $163,200
Front Jewelry (Dirty) $11,900 $10,200 8 $95,200 $81,600
VIP Jewelry (Cleaned) $42,500 $34,000 5 $212,500 $170,000
VIP Jewelry (Dirty) $22,100 $20,400 5 $110,500 $102,000
Rare Stone $68,000 $68,000 1 $68,000 $68,000
Total 14 $484,500 $401,200

Rock the Cradle

Rock the Cradle [Overkill Difficulty]

In this heist, there’s a lot of loot, and it falls into four different categories. Even if some items may appear different, they all have the same value. For example, the five paintings are all worth the same, even if one is locked away and looks different. It’s incredibly valuable to gather all the loot quietly, then allow the alarm to go off and escape via the helicopter. All you need to do is shoot out the glass roof, hold a hostage, and the helicopter arrives before the final assault reaches you. This will boost your money value by $377,400.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Cocaine $8,500 $17,000 6 $51,000 $102,000
Artwork $25,500 $68,000 5 $127,500 $340,000
Money $11,900 $34,000 9 $107,100 $306,000
Crypto Wallet $425,000 $340,000 1 $425,000 $340,000
Total 21 $710,600 $1,088,000

Under the Surphaze

In this heist, there’s a lot of artwork and statues, but there are only two main types of loot: “Objective Artwork” and “Optional Artwork.” There’s also a “secret painting” with a value, although I’ll include it separately, and it won’t be added to the total. If you pick the incorrect painting, the value is reduced by 50%, similar to the ink packs in “No Rest for the Wicked.”

As an additional note, there might be a bug where you see missing loot even if you’ve collected the secret painting. This issue could be related to bringing a zipline to the heist, which adds loot that was never turned in. However, it shouldn’t affect any challenges or achievements related to collecting all the loot; it’s just a visual glitch. Normally, there are 20 lootable items, and with the secret painting, it becomes 21.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Artwork (Objective) $255,000 $170,000 4 $1,020,000 $680,000
Optional Loot $26,350 $26,350 16 $421,600 $421,600
Total 20 $1,441,600 $1,101,600
Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Secret Painting $17,000 $17,000 1 $17,000 $17,000
Total 21 $1,458,600 $1,118,600

Gold & Sharke

In this heist, there are two types of money stacks: “Half Stack” and “Full Stack.” They have a visual difference, and they affect both objective completion and value. The server itself doesn’t count towards the objective percentage but is necessary to turn in.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Server $93,500 $102,000 1 $93,500 $102,000
Money (Half Stack) $68,000 $85,000 7 $476,000 $595,000
Money (Full Stack) $119,000 $127,500 5 $595,000 $637,500
Total 13 $1,164,500 $1,334,500

99 Boxes

99 Boxes [Overkill Difficulty]

This particular heist led me to dive into this information because I thought I was receiving too much payment for a fully degraded prototype. The Prototype has three tiers, depending on how quickly you turn it in. The highest value is the A grade, followed by the B grade as the second phase, and the D grade when it’s fully degraded. I’ll display the values in separate charts so you can plan your route for the reward accordingly.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
Prototype D Grade $340,000 $255,000 2 $680,000 $510,000
Money $25,500 $25,500 6 $153,000 $153,000
Total 8 $833,000 $663,000

Touch the Sky

Touch the Sky [Overkill Difficulty]

In this heist, the jewelry includes one unique item that looks vastly different, but, unfortunately, its appearance doesn’t affect its value. All the jewelry is counted the same. However, when it comes to money, similar to Gold & Sharke, it does have different values. We’ll use the same names as “Half Stack” and “Full Stack” to describe their size accordingly.

Loot Stealth Loud Quantity Max Stealth Value Max Loud Value
SSD $595,000 $425,000 1 $595,000 $425,000
Jewelry $37,400 $25,500 9 $336,600 $229,500
Money (Half Stack) $102,000 $68,000 1 $102,000 $68,000
Money (Full Stack) $170,000 $127,500 1 $170,000 $127,500
Cocaine $51,000 $34,000 3 $153,000 $102,000
Total 15 $1,356,600 $952,000
