This guide will show you everything you need to know about the weapon locker’s upgrade in Orbital Bullet.

Key Note

Notes/Comments: These changes only make your story run better. They don’t work in the “Eternity Tower” run, except for a few things like the weapon level. To make these upgrades, you need “Weapon Fragment” resources.

  1. The upgrade that makes it so you can start with or find better weapons in the “story” or “eternity tower” run.
  2. The upgrade that lets you start with or find even better weapons in the “story” or “eternity tower” run.
  3. To unlock this, you need to activate the Eternity Console at Miro.
    • The upgrade that makes Eternity Weapons show up more often at the beginning or while playing the “story” run.
  4. To unlock this, you need to place two batteries in the teleporter at Talos.
    • The upgrade that increases the chance of finding Overcharge Weapons at the start or while playing the “story” run.
  5. There’s a special weapon that’s locked and needs a blueprint to unlock. You can find these blueprints by defeating random enemies on planets, the first-time boss you defeat in the “story” run, or as a reward in the Eternity Tower run. Don’t worry; even if a weapon is locked, it can still appear in your run depending on factors like the planet you’re on and other upgrades.
  6. Resource: Weapon Fragment
    • Where to get it: Only in the “story” run
    • Who or What Drops Them: Always from defeating a boss, sometimes from certain locked chests, and occasionally from timed chests.
    • How to Use Them: Use them to upgrade the Weapon Locker stuff.
  7. Resource: Nanobytes
    • Where to get it: Only in the “story” run
    • Who or What Drops Them: Randomly find them in loot on the ground or in any kind of chest.
    • How to Use Them: Use them to improve your skills in the Home Base Skill Tree.
  8. To unlock this, use Nanobytes in the Skill Tree.
    • Convert Nanobytes into Weapon Fragments.

  1. To unlock this, you need to fully upgrade both “1” and “2.”
    • This upgrade makes the weapon do more damage.
  2. When you completely upgrade a weapon, you can change its appearance. (You’ll earn an achievement called “Go Golden” for doing this.)

Eternity Weapon

Eternity Weapon Modifier:

  • Requirement: First, activate the Eternity Console at Miro.
  • Unlock: To get this modifier, clear and collect the Eternity Modifier at Miro. You’ll need to find 3 Eternity Shards and put them into the Eternity Console.

Note: This action also opens up the Eternity Tower.

  • Effect: This modifier gives your weapons unlimited ammo.

Overcharged Weapon

Overcharged Weapon Modifier:

  • Requirement: Start by placing the two batteries into the teleporter at Talos.
  • Unlock: Once you’ve done that, clear and collect the Overcharged Modifier at Talos.
  • Effect: This modifier boosts your weapon’s fire rate, making it shoot faster.
