The developer of OMG Words Playtest has released a new update for the game on April 16, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Blueprints:
Blueprints now stay for the duration of a run
Blueprints that work in match now apply straight away
Gameplay:
Rare and uncommon Items now start less likely and increase in likelihood as rounds progress
Other:
Removed in game stats screen as unsure what to put on it (any suggestions?)
UI/Visual:
Newly won medal animate properly
Stamps can be place on any current tile
Boons can be cancelled
Wild Selection can be cancelled
Collection screen out ofs fixed
Tournament Stat screen no longer wraps
Philatist/Chrysus combo now shows correct tooltip in shop
One Man Trash now shows correct tooltip in shop
Shows version number of build on start
Hint clearly states you cant play single words
Cash Out shows properly in final
