The developer of Nucleares has released a new update for the game on April 17, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
The following improvements and fixes were implemented:
- Fixed bug with the indicator lights missing from the fuel block containers in the control room.
- Fixed bug with inverted labels on the external reactor vessel load pump actuator.
- Fixed bug with glare in the control room when activating dynamic lights.
- Fixed bugs when interacting with the train buttons: door opening, trip start, trip selector.
- Fixed bug in the position of the AO battery in the player’s hands, which prevented it from being placed back in the robot.
- Fixed bug in the energy absorbed indicator of resistance banks, when activating a bank without resistance blocks.
- Fixed bug with the core’s radioactivity visual effect on water.
- Fixed bug in the radioactivity sensors, which were not deactivated even if the area had been decontaminated.
- Added the description of the area that requires decontamination to the pending maintenance tasks report.
- Improved tube textures so that they look correct even in low quality.
- Improved the interaction of the advanced core vessel water simulation with the control rods.
- Improved the animation of the advanced water simulation so that there are no jumps when lowering the level inside the external vessel.
- Increased the sound emitted by the generating turbine so that it can be heard again from the control room.
- Modified the fast-time time format from hh:mm to hh H : mm M : ss S to unify the indicators and avoid confusion.
- Blocked the ability to modify dynamic lights, as well as changing the quality profile during the game, to prevent graphical glitches.
- Enlarged the window between the control room and the reactor core.
This update is compatible with all previous savegames. If you’re having trouble loading a saved progress, please let me know!
The experimental chemistry module is not compatible with previous saved progress.
