Er zijn er een totaal van 7 skill branches in Styx: Master of Shadows. The last branch, Predator, becomes accessible when you have fully unlocked the skills in at least 2 other branches. Unlocking all the skills in the game costs 2,320 skill points and earns you the ‘Great power…unlock all skills’ prestatie.

Stealth

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 220

1. Sixth Sense – Thanks to your sixth sense, a sound will alert you if an enemy outside your field of vision is about to detect you, or if a crossbowman targets you.

– 20 skill points required

2. Light Footsteps – Whether walking or running, you will not produce any sound when you move while being invisible.

– 40 skill points required

3. Snel herstel – When you return from invisibility, rapid recovery allows you to regain half of the amber that you consumed to make you invisible.

– 70 skill points required

4. Master of Invisibility – You can stay invisible indefinitely without consuming amber as long as you do not move.

– 90 skill points required

Wendbaarheid

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 200

1. Silent Landing – You are as nimble as any goblin. You make less noise when you hit the ground.

– 20 skill points required

2. Mastery of Escape – Your rolls and dodges are more effective in avoiding the blows of your enemies. You need less accuracy to successfully dodge an attack.

– 40 skill points required

3. Expert Duelist – In a duel, you require less accuracy to successfully counter the enemy. The timing for a successful parry is wider.

– 50 skill points required

4. Elite Thrower – The distance over which you can throw projectiles is now doubled.

– 90 skill points required

Cloning

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 230

1. Bind – Your clones can grab an enemy for a few moments, and you can take advantage to kill them or to simply continue on your way, unhindered.

– 30 skill points required

2. Pounce – You can order a clone to lay in wait inside a chest or cupboard and to grab the first enemy that comes within reach, in order to eliminate him.

– 50 skill points required

3. Superior Smoke Bomb – The cloud of smoke triggered by the explosion of the clone smoke bomb is now twice as wide.

– 60 skill points required

4. Invisible Clone – When you control a clone, you can make it invisible. There is no cost in amber, but you can only do it once per clone.

– 90 skill points required

Amber Vision

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 210

1. Expert Collector – In amber vision, you will find it easier to identify all collectible items in the surrounds.

– 20 skill points required

2. Superior Amber Vision – You can use your amber vision for twice as long.

– 40 skill points required

3. Piercing Gaze – You perceive more clearly the direction an enemy is facing. Useful when you only make out their silhouette.

– 60 skill points required

4. Bewustzijn – The area of your amber vision perception is enlarged by 50%.

– 90 skill points required

Apparatuur

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 210

1. Master Healer – You can carry an extra vial of life.

– 20 skill points required

2. Stock of Acid – Three vials of acid are always at your disposal in the hideout; you will be able to retrieve them between each mission.

– 40 skill points required

3. Master Cutler – You can carry an extra throwing knife.

– 60 skill points required

4. Master of Amber – You can carry an extra vial of amber.

– 90 skill points required

Doden

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 260

1. Covered Kill – You can kill an enemy while under the protection of cover if the enemy is within striking range.

– 40 skill points required

2. Aerial Kill – You can kill any enemy from above, if he is underneath you.

– 60 skill points required

3. Hanging Kill –  You can kill an enemy while you are hanging from a ledge and the target is just above you.

– 70 skill points required

4. Murderous Impulse – You can trigger a classic kill while being a little further away from your target.

– 90 skill points required

Predator (Speciaal)

Four unlockable skills. Total skill points required for completion: 990

1. Manipulator of Shadows – You automatically become invisible when you control your clones. Cloning and Stealth trees must be fully unlocked.

– 230 skill points required

2. Born Killer – Your aerial and covered kills are now muffled. Kill and agility trees must be fully unlocked.

260 skill points required

3. Omniscience- Amber vision allows you to detect enemies and tokens through walls. Amber vision and Stealth trees must be fully unlocked.

– 300 skill points required

4. Master of Vials- Vials of life and amber that you consume refill your gauges to the full. Agility and Equipment trees must be fully unlocked.
