Nullmaze – Early Game Strategies

In deze gids, I will tell you about a few early game strategies you can use in this game, that I already have used in the demo version and the official game.

Strategie 1 – No Mobs

You can go the safe route and buy only the resources you need without mobs, which will make you ready for them when you buy them in the shop. This strategy is safe, but it demands a lot of time because you only have a limited amount of ways to make money without buying mobs.

Ook, you can’t upgrade your gear much without mobs, so you’ll need to hit everything many times. This strategy is still good if you want a big amount of hearts before the first mob encounters, which take a lot of your lives away.

Strategie 2 – Gear Upgrade

Another option is to immediately buy everything you need to upgrade your gear, including mobs. This strategy makes it much faster to gather materials, although you have a higher risk of dying. Buying a campfire early on is a good idea in this strategy. Mobs like to surprise attack you, so be careful when you are crafting or interacting with objects in the environment.

Strategie 3 – House Renting

The last strategy that I will mention is the strategy where you buy the building ability early on and build houses to rent in the beginning. Renting houses will provide with constant money supply, which makes it possible to buy things faster. It also helps when you are in a hurry and need some quick money to do a task that you can’t get from the environment.

Aanvullende tips

A small tip I can give is: use Dungeons to your advantage. Let’s say you are in a situation where you will almost certainly die, but there is a dungeon next to you. It is best to enter the Dungeon because there will be a lot fewer mobs in the dungeon than outside of it. Ook, obstacles at the beginning of the dungeons make it possible to protect yourself temporarily while you heal.
