The developer of Necrosmith 2 has released a new update for the game on April 4, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
The biggest AI improvements update is now live! Please make sure you have the latest (1.0.4) version of the game installed.
List of changes:
- Units assigned to “collect resources” won’t ignore enemies anymore; instead, they will try to fend them off and avoid taking damage.
- Units assigned to “attack enemies”, equipped with ranged weapons, will prioritize attacking enemies and their lairs from a distance.
- Units assigned to “attack lairs” will no longer ignore enemies. They will engage in combat with them, and attack from a distance if equipped with ranged weapons, and try to avoid taking damage.
- Units assigned to “attack lairs” won’t just stand in the lair dealing damage to it, but they will try to destroy it, avoiding damage themselves.
- Units assigned to “attack lairs” will try to attack lairs from a minimal distance, ensuring they remain no closer than their combat skills allow.
- Added extra sorting buttons for body parts in the inventory.
- Added hotkeys for spell usage.
- Increased the effects of many artifacts from the treasure trove.
- Fixed an issue with the inability to start the run when combining 2 artifacts.
- Fixed a rare issue with losing the earned gold from runs after exiting the game.
- Fixed other minor issues.
