Here’s a simple guide to show you where and what’s inside all 15 red caches in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries The Dragon’s Gambit DLC. In The Dragon’s Gambit, there are 15 missions. Each mission has a secret loot cache that you can find. These caches always look the same and are marked with a red marker. Inside these caches, you’ll always find Tier 5 items, including ammo for your weapons.

When you look at the screenshots of mission locations, you’ll see where the weapons are in the cache. Additionally, you’ll receive extra rewards for completing missions. Be careful, though, because some missions will end automatically once you complete certain objectives. These missions will have an asterisk (*) to let you know that you should loot the cache before finishing the mission.

The mission will finish when all enemy bases and mechs are destroyed. It’s a good idea to tell your lance mates to “Hold Fire” before destroying the bases. This way, they won’t accidentally destroy them too soon.

Mission ends when both bases and enemy mechs are destroyed. Take care, allied units can clear bases and end mission prematurely.
