There is a legal way to dupe (propagate) items in the game. True one single time for one character (passage). But it can help a lot, especially when trying to complete the game on maximum difficulty on all characters. At the moment (date: 03.12.2022) everything works!
Text Guide
- The items that you need for duplication (x2) should be taken with you to the last level of the character’s company (so for a detective it’s a sea city; for a professor it’s the arctic with penguins; etc.)
- After you finish passing the last level (in fact, you will pass the character’s company), you will be offered to start a new story or go through some chapter again for this character. You need to choose the second one (do not start a new story for a new character!)
- Important! Empty inventory: put everything in storage. Do not forget about what you are wearing, as well as keys and first aid kits.
- In place of the portal in a strange place from which you usually went on a mission, Lovecraft will now stand. He will prompt you to choose which level you want to go through again. My experience shows that the choice does not matter (choose any).
- After loading the level, break a couple of boxes, then press Esc. Select the point with the return to the shelter back. You will be warned that items obtained in this location will be lost. Agree.
- You will appear in the shelter and you will have ALL INVENTORY with which you previously moved for the first time to the last level of the company of this character (see point 1).
- Feel free to put items in storage and start the story as a new character: both sets of items (original and reproduced) will remain!
